The bartender was incredibly rude and unpleasant, making it impossible for me to recommend spending money at this place. It's hard to believe.

I visited the restaurant on Wednesday at 5:30 PM and ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, which came with salad, tomatoes, onions, pickles, mayo, cheese, and a side of fries. I also enjoyed a few $1 Budweiser taps. Everything exceeded my expectations, especially the fantastic bartender!

Very nice bar in downtown Sturgeon Bay. Many history and old illuminated photos of the bay behind the bar. Great beer prices too. The staff is excellent, Joelle was a very ingenious bartender to ensure that we had full beer all night and informed us about their famous burgers during lunch, which we were so delicious for the next day!!! The staff here was incredibly friendly, and there were no issues with our kids sitting at the bar. The cheese curds were the best I've ever had in Wisconsin—perfectly baked and incredibly fresh. The French fries were also some of the finest I've tasted. I ordered the Burger Special, and it was delicious. I also appreciated having a Diet 7UP option available. All of this was offered at a very reasonable price.

Owner Nick was friendly and attentive. Perfect dive bar for a good beer and a great burger. Open since 1949 and owned by 3 generations of the same family, You can feel the pride in the ownership of this establishment. The posted photo of the menu is the ONLY menu available at this bar... the additional menu that is on Google is not accurate so disregard this one. Stop in and have a beer and some bar food it will be worth it! We will return for sure!

We tried the specialty burgers served on Texas toast with grilled onions, and we also couldn't resist ordering the Door County specialty, which comes with French fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, cheese curds, and fried mushrooms. I must say, this was hands down the best burger I've ever had! The combination of Texas toast with the burger was surprisingly delightful. The Door County specialty was equally impressive; we were thrilled to sample such a variety of uniquely delicious fried foods. If you find yourself in the area, the Red Room is a must-visit.
