"I just returned from this restaurant, and I have to say, the food was excellent and the portion sizes were generous. I’m not sure what some people mean when they say there’s no flavor—perhaps they had a few too many of those delicious margaritas before tasting their food. Speaking of margaritas, they were fantastic and a great value! We will definitely be coming back whenever we're craving Mexican cuisine. We had no idea we had such a fantastic Mexican restaurant so close to home. The staff were also very friendly! I highly recommend checking this place out!"

I ordered regular nachos, but they piled on everything I didn’t want. I had to explain my request to three different staff members, yet nothing was done about it.

The meal was not only delicious, but I also want to commend the restaurant designers. The wall coverings and the robust, stylish booths were truly impressive. The service was excellent as well. Ver carta

I enjoyed a lovely dinner on Friday night! The food was excellent, arriving at a reasonable time, hot and full of flavor. Our waitress was very attentive, and the restaurant itself was spotless and Covid-safe, which I appreciated. The place is truly immaculate. My only complaint is that the drinks could have been a bit stronger; they had too much ice, and I couldn't taste the alcohol at all, which was disappointing given their price. Despite that, I will definitely return!

This is the best margarita spot and Mexican restaurant in Delco! The outdoor seating is pleasant and spacious while still providing a sense of privacy. The queso dip is outstanding, and the rice is cooked to perfection. This is exactly what I crave when I think of Mexican food. The customer service is exceptional, and the prices are very reasonable. They are also dog-friendly, allowing us to bring our furry friend along. This will definitely be my go-to restaurant from now on! Ver carta

What a delightful surprise to discover such delicious Mexican cuisine right here in Newtown Square. The outdoor patio provided a lovely and relaxing atmosphere, and our server, Sienna, was exceptional. The chicken fajitas for two were not only tasty but also came in a generous portion. After a long drive, we arrived famished, and our food was served promptly. A special thank you to Jen, the owner, for her dedication to creating a fantastic dining experience, and to Sienna, whose charm enhanced our visit. We can’t wait to come back!

We visited Rey Azteca to celebrate my daughter's birthday with a group of six. The service was outstanding, and the food from their menu was delightful. We paid with a card and left a cash tip for our waiter. Unfortunately, a few days later, we discovered that the tip amount we provided in cash was also charged to our card. It took over a week of back-and-forth communication to resolve the issue and get our refund. What a frustrating experience! They even tried to dispute our claim. I guess we'll have to check out West Chester next time.

"For our appetizer, we chose the Pork Bun, followed by the Pork Katsu Curry Don and Chicken Katsu Curry Don for our main dishes. We also ordered a two-roll combo from the lunch menu (California roll and Spicy Salmon roll), but unfortunately, we didn’t receive the miso soup or salad that was supposed to come with it, as stated in the menu. We would have inquired about the soup, but being first-time visitors, we forgot it was included, and the waitress did not mention it. The lunch special rolls weren't anything memorable. I can’t recall whether there were 6 or 8 pieces per roll, but they did serve as a decent snack while we awaited our main courses. However, I think I would skip the sushi next time. The Pork Bun appetizer consists of two buns on one plate. While I didn’t take a photo, it looked as you would expect: pork, some greens, and a drizzle of sauce inside a soft white bun. I found the meat to be somewhat dry. Unless you have a strong craving for Pork Buns and no other options in mind, I’d suggest passing on them as an appetizer. The Katsu Curry Don comes with a single spice level and is very filling. You can choose between chicken or pork, and since there were two of us, we ordered one of each. The meat is smothered in curry sauce and accompanied by vegetables and potatoes. Overall, I enjoyed the Pork Katsu Curry Don; it really satisfied my craving for curry rice. Regarding service, despite being seated quickly, we experienced quite a wait for our order to be taken, for our food to arrive, and then to receive the check. Our table was situated close to the entrance and within view of the waitstaff and kitchen staff. To be fair, 3-4 other groups came in by the time our food was served, and it seemed there was only one waitress managing the floor. Overall, I found this to be a nice casual spot for Japanese cuisine. We enjoyed our main courses and were not deterred by the service. I would recommend trying this place for their entrees. If I were to return, I think I'd skip the appetizers and rolls and focus solely on the main dishes. As for parking, there is a lot with plenty of available spaces."

"So the place that used to be here had also been a favourite place, so I was sad to see it go, but I had to give this place a try. I mean, I can never turn down sushi. We made a reservation for my birthday and I'm glad we did, it was packed. It did empty out though near the end. I ordered two things of sushi, some shumai, and dumplings. My dad ordered the wonton for two and I forget what else and my mum ordered a green bean dish and a dish that has chicken, shrimp, beef and vegetables in it. My only issue was my parents got their main courses and I had to wait maybe five more minutes for my sushi. But I'm not saying it's a bad thing, it was busy and I ordered two specialty rolls. My parents made a bigger deal out of it than I did because I know making and rolling sushi takes time. Plus it was busy. For dessert my mum and I ordered the chocolate mousse and my dad ordered the Creme Brule. The chocolate dusting of a fork on the dish was weird, but I found it funny and unique. The desserts were heaven. The wait staff was super nice and the owner is really cool. He came and chatted with us for ten or so minutes. We came back the next week and all our appetizers came out at the same time and all our entrees, including my three orders of sushi, came out at the same time. We went around 5pm for the second dinner and it hadn't gotten packed yet. My only complaint, I got the tea with bubbles and the bubbles were horrible. The tea was also super strong so I had to mix in more water to weaken it. But I also don't like super sweet and strong teas, so the tea might be fine for someone else, but for me it tasted bad."
