They serve consistent custard and ice but the service is slacking a bit. Probably would benefit from more staff or more training.

When the heat is on, it's all about Rita's. The swirl is my favorite. So come down and cool down a bit and stuff yourself with some ice cream. Yum yum in my tum tum.

This place was so charming! The decor featured red and white stripes, and they had a nice outdoor seating area. The staff was friendly and our order arrived quickly. I ordered my usual from Rita's: blue raspberry and root beer Italian ice topped with gummy bears. It really captured those flavors perfectly, and I loved it! My friend tried the pear ice cream, and they enjoyed it, commenting on how surprised they were at how generous the small size portion was. A new summer flavor has just been released: Peach Ring Italian. It sounded both refreshing and delicious, so I had to give it a try. I ordered a large Gelati and paired it with Key Lime Italian Ice and Vanilla Custard. This combination was perfect for me; the Peach Ring had a lovely peach flavor that was just a little on the sweet side, and the tartness of the Key Lime balanced it out beautifully. I'll definitely be back for another visit, perhaps exploring different pairings next time. The service was excellent too—I was greeted warmly, my order was made exactly as I requested, and checkout was quick. Everything was spot on. I absolutely love Rita's!

We visited Rita's and ordered five items, including an Italian ice. This was the first time I had encountered fruit in an Italian ice from Rita's, and it was meant for a family member who was unaware and didn't want the fruit. Upon discovering it, he was quite surprised. When we approached the young cashier about exchanging it for a fruit-free option, she informed us that it was already made and couldn’t be changed. We then inquired about a discount if we decided to purchase another Italian ice without fruit, but she explained that they don’t offer discounts. It seems they also don’t prioritize resolving customer issues. We will not be returning to this Rita's in the future.

I have always loved Rita's and it has been a beloved family tradition for many years. However, my experience today was disappointing. I was greeted by a nervous server and an overly aggressive owner. When I made a simple request for a little less Italian ice in order to make room for more custard, the owner or manager responded inappropriately. They insisted on explaining the costs involved with my request, even going so far as to claim that they would go out of business for accommodating a small extra serving of custard.
