"This is our favorite spot for fish and chips along this stretch of coastline. They specialize in fresh, battered cod, which is the main reason to visit. While there are a few other options on the menu for those who don’t fancy fish and chips, the cod is definitely the highlight. It's crispy, moist, flaky, and absolutely delicious—so the only decision you’ll need to make is whether to order a two-piece or three-piece serving. The location is gorgeous, situated right by the Nehalem River, offering stunning views and a chance to see wildlife. We often spot bald eagles and great blue herons soaring along the water, and in the summer, groups of kayakers and boaters can be seen enjoying the river. However, dining here has its challenges, particularly on rainy days, since most of the seating is outdoors at picnic tables. There are some covered tables, including options near the river with umbrellas and a patio area. For parking, there are two city lots right off Highway 101 at the corner where the highway turns uphill from the waterfront. During the week, finding on-street parking along 101 is usually quite easy."

Mouth watering food. Unfortunately they lack in communication and customer service. 40 minute drive to be turned away from the window twice. “We don’t take orders past 5:30”. Would’ve been good to know. Last I was told was 6pm! ??

Without a doubt, the best fish and chips on the Oregon coast! Their homemade tartar sauce is amazing! Finally, a restaurant that serves delicious slaw alongside the fish and chips! If you’re a fan of fish and chips, Riverside is the place to go!

Beautiful location, gorgeous spot to sit and enjoy. Service was great, and only a short wait to get our food. The fries (chips) were absolutely phenomenal! The fish was cooked perfectly, BUT it was very bland, just a bit of the seasoning from the fries and it would have been perfect, but without that it missed the mark. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at this restaurant. The atmosphere and location are ideal for savoring some amazing fish and chips. The batter on the fish was excellent, but the standout was the beer-battered fries. While the fish was fantastic, those fries were among the best we’ve ever tasted. If you find yourself in the area craving a great meal, you won't be disappointed!
