"My wife and I have visited this restaurant many times, and we stopped by for breakfast on September 11, 2022, after a wonderful stay at the Bunk House Inn. We ordered our meals, along with coffee and juice. When our food arrived, something was missing, so I kindly asked if it could be fixed. The waitress took the plate back but returned and slammed it down on the table as we were thanking her. A few moments later, she brought us the bill and began cursing in Spanish. This caused us to try to leave, but she blocked our way and threatened to call the police. The other customers were visibly shocked by the situation. The other exit was locked as well, but we eventually managed to get out. This waitress should definitely be fired. We left quickly and weren't sure if any other diners left after us, but they looked just as surprised."

"Nice location and view on the back dock. Dog friendly outside! You order food at the front and you?ll seat yourself where ever there is a table available. You are asked to clear your own table as well (fair with staffing these days! It was a 30 minute wait to get in and then it was an 1.5 hour wait before we got our food. The dish I picked wasn?t my forte, but the pizza I saw come out to others looked and smelled good. There was only 3 regular servers that I saw, so I?m sure they were very crunched for staff. Lucky for us it was a nice day and able to enjoy being outside. This was my experience and my first time here. I can?t say if it?s like this regularly."

"I believe they have the best ice cream on the Oregon coast. Not only does taste amazing, they have such fun and creative flavors. We come every day when we visit the area. I tried their Thai chowder and was in love with it. The amazing delicious coconut and lemon grass flavor, yum!I ate very slow to savor it correctly.Also, the service is very friendly. I am impressed at how they are serious with safety with COVID as well. We really appreciated that. I highly recommend checking them out."

"I would give zero stars if I could. Me and my boyfriend ordered take out from the window. We paid and they told us it would be a 20 minute wait. When we came back out 20 minutes later we could see our food on the rack but no one was there to give it us.We pressed the assistance button many times but still had to wait 40 minutes for the server to come back to hand us our foodfrom inside the window. She didn?t even remember us. Other people were seated inside promptly while we waited still waited to behelped. The food was cold, over priced and soggy. The gyro was $14 and was ridiculously small with two pieces of meat total.Around 450 calories. One of the burgers was placed sloppily upside down in the container and later fell apart while eating. Bothburgers were ordered for well-done but came out visibly medium-rare. Go to this place only if you enjoy a creepy feelingatmosphere, and long wait times for disgusting food."

"This is our favorite spot for fish and chips along this stretch of coastline. They specialize in fresh, battered cod, which is the main reason to visit. While there are a few other options on the menu for those who don’t fancy fish and chips, the cod is definitely the highlight. It's crispy, moist, flaky, and absolutely delicious—so the only decision you’ll need to make is whether to order a two-piece or three-piece serving. The location is gorgeous, situated right by the Nehalem River, offering stunning views and a chance to see wildlife. We often spot bald eagles and great blue herons soaring along the water, and in the summer, groups of kayakers and boaters can be seen enjoying the river. However, dining here has its challenges, particularly on rainy days, since most of the seating is outdoors at picnic tables. There are some covered tables, including options near the river with umbrellas and a patio area. For parking, there are two city lots right off Highway 101 at the corner where the highway turns uphill from the waterfront. During the week, finding on-street parking along 101 is usually quite easy."
