"Enjoyed a business dinner on August 15, 2024 at Seasons in Davis. I have not been there in a while and immediately noticed the reduced menu of about 4 entrees, 4 premium sandwiches and numerous apps. The good news is that the restaurant still has the outstanding chef that was there during my last visit. We shared a delicious cantaloupe and feta cheese app, which was delicious. We the both ordered the surf and turf that was different from the usual. This was a long cooked lamb rib (Dixon, CA) and lobster tail combo that was exquisite. The meat literally fell off the bone and was absolutely delicious, and the lobster tail was done to perfection. The wine selection was good and affordable and the drink selections were varied and good. The sorbet and chocolate mousse were out of the ordinary and divine. Prices were higher than I recall but not out of the ordinary for quality food in these days of inflation and generally higher food prices. Overall, I recommend Seasons."

I was hoping we had a great experience for Valentine’s Day but nada. They were not prepared for the influx of people and we waited hour and 45 mins to get served. Not acceptable.

We went to Season's for a birthday dinner, it was a lovely experience. We were a group of 5 and we ordered several shared dishes and some main courses. Everything was delicious. We will go again

We loved that there are farm fresh vegan options on the menu. They rotate specialties and the whole menu often, based upon seasonality and what's growing just a few miles away. Terrific sauces and flavors. Very creative! Ver carta

We had a lovely experience dining at Seasons. The Tempura Tofu was excellent. My husband had their Kobe Beef Pizza. Our server was particularly helpful and pleasant. I really can’t speak to the noise. We were traveling and pulled into Davis early (5ish) (I’m a former Aggie) and few people were in the restaurant at that time. The decor is sparse, and attractive. I would happily return next time we are that way.

Seasons have drastically changed their menu, offering a mystery 3 course prix fix. You won’t know what you’re getting until they serve you. This was a problem for me with food allergies. They did substitute some items, but I feel there was some cross contamination as I was ill afterwards. The kitchen seemed chaotic and slow, plus one of the servers complained loudly about this to their fellow servers, ruining the ambience for us. The food ranged from ok to tasty. I hope they return to their previous non mysterious delicious food.
