"The restaurant boasts a stylish and modern interior that beautifully showcases Japanese decor and ambiance. The food portions are generous, the service is exceptional, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. There’s an impressive selection of sake, as well as a good variety of wine and beer, accompanied by a comprehensive sushi menu. The staff were friendly and attentive. The steamed gyoza was the best we've ever had. The long wooden tables at the sushi bar create a vibrant dining experience, and there’s also a cozy outdoor seating area. Conveniently located in the heart of Woodstock, it has quickly become our favorite sushi spot! If I had to mention one area for improvement, it would be the soy sauce on the table; I wasn’t a fan of it, so next time I’ll request the low-sodium option. But that’s really the only critique I have!"

Lovely! Ordered the udon with beef and the real crab California and some jasmine green tea. Delish early dinner! Highly recommend for reasonably priced, high quality sushi and excellent service.

It was Friday around 6:30. The place was packed, and it took quite a while, I was warned ahead when I placed the order. I love this place, the sushi is amazing, the yakisoba is fantastic and my favorite which is bibim bop is complete heaven!

Absolutely fantastic! The wait time is usually quite short, and everything is always fresh. The temperature is just right—not too hot or too cold! I really enjoy this place. The miso soup is warm and delicious, and all the fish is cooked to perfection. The staff is also very friendly. Ver carta

Shoko Sushi is a fantastic local gem! They offer amazing specials and a wide selection of fish varieties. Their ramen, tempura, and gyoza are all excellent as well! I'm particularly fond of their nigiri specials. Additionally, they have an extensive list of sales! The photo below showcases the nigiri lunch special, which includes a California roll (not shown, but it also comes with miso soup).

We stumbled upon this restaurant one day and have been back multiple times since. It’s definitely a keeper on our list, thanks to the excellent service and tasty sushi. We enjoy both dining in and getting takeout, and we’ve never faced any issues. The presentation of the sushi is impressive, and I personally love the ramen—it’s a fulfilling meal on its own. The ramen features a delicious broth, plenty of noodles, two eggs, a generous portion of meat, and more! My 3.5-year-old is a big fan of the edamame.
