"I absolutely adore this restaurant! It’s my favorite spot for breakfast! I always order their breakfast sandwiches, specifically the Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Croissant and the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Croissant, both of which are incredibly delicious. We also enjoy their Dozen Donut Holes and other donut varieties. The staff is consistently friendly and accommodating, ensuring that they serve their customers the most appealing items. I've had wonderful experiences here, and my kids love it just as much as I do! Thank you, Johnny's Donuts, for the fantastic work you do!"

"Reve’s 4th of July event was a delicious culinary celebration of the season. The first course of a Gazpacho with corn fritter was the perfect kick off to the flavors of summer. This was followed by a crab cake brimming with flavor and accompanied by a crispy fried avocado wedge. The perfect pairing! The main course of halibut fillet over a summer vegetable medley continued to emphasize the seasonal flavors and the fruit crisp added the perfect sweet finish to a meal. As always, the service was superb and we look forward to our next dining experience with one of our favorite restaurants!"

"Visited twice just in a month for different occasions my experience was not consistent. It's either great service and sub par food or the other way around, but never great food and great service. Some details about the food: they mess up the doneness of the stakes when there are multiple same orders at the table. Mistakes happen and we would on such occasions just swap plates, but when there are add ons like lobster tail, scallops and different sauce that's not possible the kitchen needs to pay more attention. The last time my ribeye was full of gristle I ate some of it, the dog enjoyed the rest. Such meat cuts have no place on a $80 plate. The sides are nothing to write home about. The appetizers are decent, except that the pork belly was under roasted and not crispy. I could be totally content with the place at half the price, but if it wants to compete in the Ruth's Chris category price wise it's two stars."

"I was craving a hamburger and I'm happy to say that this restaurant exceeded my expectations! The fried Burrata was absolutely delicious, especially when paired with the crostini and squash in the sauce. The Brie Burger was also outstanding. Don't miss out on trying one of their loaded fries - we had the Parmesan garlic and it was amazing. The service was fantastic, our waiter was very attentive. I can't wait to return to this restaurant."

"Met a friend here for brunch yesterday- she stays in Danville and I live in Oakland so when we came up with Lafayette as a meet in the middle location- I immediately went to Yelp for helpful suggestions and The Hideout popped up right away. This place has been on my radar so I was excited to try something new. It did not disappoint- it was about a 15 minute drive for the both of us- the name is accurate...if you blink you will miss the turn in for parking. It 's situated mid way on the street and the entrance is tucked away on the side of another business. Although it doesn 't look like it, there is plenty of parking on the premises and if you 're lucky on the street. Reservations are only for large parties- we were able to get seated right away on a Sunday close to noon as a walk in. We chose the outdoor patio that came with heated lamps and a cute little table top fire place that is self controlled. I took a video but am not able to share. The place is definitely great for brunches, large and small parties, kid and pet friendly. My friend and I ended up ordering the same item- the Harvest Frittata which comes with seasonal veggies like asparagus. It comes with your choice of bread (French or English muffin) and fresh fruit. Presentation was beautiful- I am visual and eat with my eyes.... the smell coming from the plate was what I described to our server JP as herbalicious . I 'm not sure but I feel like their bread is made in-house- the muffin was thin and crispy and whatever butter they slathered on it....I want to take a bath in it. My friend said the same about her French bread. I couldn 't stop eating it- but I finally slowed down enough to get a to go container. Definitely keeping this place on my radar since it 's so close- great ambience for day and night. LOTS of indoor seating in addition to the outdoor patio- I would love to come back and try the dinner menu."
