"This place was HORRIBLE! I spent $35 $5 tip and I would love to get my $5 tip back at a minimum). $23.50 was VERY overpriced for 3 SMALL pieces of cod chips). And, they make you pay for tartar sauce! The clam chowder?.even worse! First of all, they didn?t fill it close to the top of the container, so we automatically felt we were getting ripped off. Plus, it was scorched, watered down, and had no flavor. There were about 5 small pieces of clam potato. I never complain, even when restaurant food quality isn?t that good. But, I had to say something about the chowder. I told a young male worker that it was scorched. I politely asked for my money back. This worker rudely asked if we had eaten any of it. I said, ?Yes, we wanted to at least try it.? He stated, ?Since you?ve eaten some of it, I can?t give you any of your money back.? He absolutely refused to refund any portion of the cost offered no solution. REALLY?!! You call that good customer service?! I will never return to this place and I will certainly tell as many people as I can to AVOID THIS PLACE!!!! IT?S HORRIBLE!!!"

My husband and I came here to grab some fish and chips. What we got was $60 of cash and carry pre made garbage. The food was worth $15 at most. We paid $6 for like 6 onion rings. My halibut? Dry. The tartar sauce? Lack luster. Save your money. Go somewhere better.

I had a great meal of fish and chips at SPUD fish and chips while visiting the family in the area. The two who serve were good at me. I sat outside and watched the sun over late Juanita when I enjoyed the food. When I get back, I'll have room for Chowder and Clams.

Basically school cafeteria quality fish and chicken. Mostly bread and fat. Chicken is very dry and probably comes from a bag of freezers. Had a sauce for the chicken strips. No napkins in the service window. Slow service. But one of the best milkshakes I've ever had, so there? Also far overpriced for fried fish the width of a disc Bologna.

I loved Spud years ago. I tried a few times this year and I won't try again. The fish is good. The fries are gay and fat. $1.79 brings you about 1/4 cup of Coleslaw and the cabbage is fresh, but the sauce is hardly there. I finished the pieces of cod, but everything else tormented. Registering woman was not particularly nice to the older woman before me. Ver carta

Amazing people and very tasty eating! Don't miss this sea family in possession of precious stone sport the freshest fish. cara took care of our order and was very welcoming. after complimenting the garlic aioli sauce, it forwarded that it passed a family recipe to it. the place itself was very clean and spacious. the few flipper machines with watery themed to the back ended the wonderful ambiente. when they enjoy seafood, they are here in big hands.

Amazing people and VERY tasty food! Don't miss this seaside family owned gem sporting the freshest of fish. Cara took care of our order and was very welcoming. Upon complimenting the garlic aioli sauce, she relayed that it was a family recipe passed down to her. ? The place itself was very clean and spacious. The couple of pinball machines with watery themes toward the back completed the wonderful ambience. If you enjoy seafood, you're in great hands here.

all of you! I found the best fishing and chips in the pnw! (I've been on a personal mission for over a year. this place is a scenic hole-in-the-wall-esque mom and pop-fishing scene that really does the job! the fish is hand-cut and hand-ground. the cod has a well fed, more of a house style brot, while the halibut has this panko-crease that I absolutely love! (I accidentally ate the healed before I could make a picture of it! the prizes are great and the people are great! my only wish would be for a home made tartaric acid. Go on! Ver carta

Y'all!!! I have found the best fish and chips in the PNW! (I've been on a personal mission for a little over a year now. This place is a quaint hole-in-the-wall-esque mom and pop fish joint that really gets the job done! The fish is hand-cut and hand-breaded. The cod has a well-seasoned, more of a home style breading while the halibut has that panko crunch that I absolutely love! (I accidentally ate the halibut before I could take a picture of it! The prices are great and the people are great! My only wish would be for a house made tartar sauce. Keep up the great work!

Hey. I'll wait here when I waited for the ferry. The lady in front of us in the line wanted to take an item from the order, but the staff did not know the password to extract or cancel an item. They had to call a manager to get the code. They're not the employees. This is a management problem. Then we have our food. Two Peice Cod and Chips and a cup of Chowder. The Chowder was okay. The Cod was like someone in another review school cafeteria quality and it was cooked over. If I wasn't back in my car, I would have taken it back. We just tortured the last fish. Not worth the stomach pain. For price and quality, I will not go back. Hopefully it will improve in the future.

"The Delish is in the Details MDH invited me out to lunch, so based on a recent review, I suggested Bistro 76 Cafe and Catering, in Perrinville, just north of Edmonds. They're known locally for their breakfasts (including house made cinnamon rolls on the weekends), but we're slow risers. Menu perused, five of six lunch sandwich options were approved for sharing (no mushrooms), and a trade deal was struck. Grilled Cheese and Spiced Butternut Bisque for me, and a Reuben with Sweet Potato and Ham Soup for him. We swapped soup bowls twice. The Spiced Butternut Bisque had more depth of flavor and a hint of sweetness, while the Sweet Potato's little hits of ham made it solidly enjoyable, if simpler. Our sandwiches, of good size, scored points for the artisan bread, toasted but not so crunchy as to rake the roof of your mouth, soft, fresh, rye ciabatta, the tenderest corned beef I've ever had, and white cheddar/smoked gouda and gruyere cheeses, instead of just a basic cheddar or swiss. The tomato and red onion concasse sang in harmony on the Grilled Cheese, and the guinness molasses mustard quietly hummed on the Reuben. Not only was the food tasty, but pretty, too. A zigzag of white crema across the soups, plus a dusting of spice, heightened our anticipation, even before the spoons broke the surface. Everybody knows that sandwiches taste better cut into triangles, with frilly toothpicks. We took home an order of Banh Mi Tacos for dinner (or second lunch, as a hobbit might suggest), because they sounded so good, and will be going out of rotation for a while. Also, since so many folks ask for breakfasty goodness midday, a couple lunch item slots may make way for more morning foods. One of the chefs kindly chatted with us for a bit, and thus we learned that one can sometimes purchase their lemon curd, jam, or salad dressing to take home. Let me sing you a song of lemon curd, with choruses on fresh squeezed juice, butter, sugar and egg yolks, cooked into custardly thickness. Bistro 76 caters, too. When there's kindness in the kitchen, it comes out in the food. Read Seattle Refined's review for more background on the restaurant and its team. P.S. We will soon be getting up early for breakfast on a weekend, if I have anything to say about it. The pictures I've seen of their cinnamon rolls give me hope that somewhere other than my own kitchen, a moist and substantial cinnamon bun is being produced. Most are too fluffy, and dry. That's the reason I still make homemade yeast rolls for holiday meals, too."
