Spud Fish Chips - Carte

I had a great meal of fish and chips at SPUD fish and chips while visiting the family in the area. The two who serve were good at me. I sat outside and watched the sun over late Juanita when I enjoyed the food. When I get back, I'll have room for Chowder and Clams.

My husband and I visited this restaurant looking forward to some fish and chips, but what we received was disappointing. We paid $60 for what felt like overpriced, pre-packaged food that was frankly worth about $15. We also spent $6 for six onion rings, which seemed excessive. My halibut was dry, and the tartar sauce was absent. Save your money and consider dining elsewhere.

We were waiting for the ferry and went and ordered halibut/fries along with cod/fries and clam chowder. OMG I?ve never have complained but this food was horrendous!! One small piece of fish of each and the clam chowder had way to much flour, it was so repulsive. For $45.00 it was very disappointing. I?ve been to Spuds at Alki and night and day on food. Amazing people and very tasty eating! Don't miss this sea family in possession of precious stone sport the freshest fish. cara took care of our order and was very welcoming. after complimenting the garlic aioli sauce, it forwarded that it passed a family recipe to it. the place itself was very clean and spacious. the few flipper machines with watery themed to the back ended the wonderful ambiente. when they enjoy seafood, they are here in big hands.

all of you! I found the best fishing and chips in the pnw! (I've been on a personal mission for over a year. this place is a scenic hole-in-the-wall-esque mom and pop-fishing scene that really does the job! the fish is hand-cut and hand-ground. the cod has a well fed, more of a house style brot, while the halibut has this panko-crease that I absolutely love! (I accidentally ate the healed before I could make a picture of it! the prizes are great and the people are great! my only wish would be for a home made tartaric acid. Go on!

Absolutely! I've discovered the best fish and chips in the Pacific Northwest! For over a year, I've been on a personal quest, and I finally found this charming little spot—a homey, hole-in-the-wall place that truly delivers! The fish is hand-cut and breaded on-site. The cod comes with a hearty, house-style batter, while the halibut features a delightful panko crunch that I can't get enough of! (I was so eager to dive in that I forgot to take a picture of the halibut before finishing it!) The prices are fantastic, and the service is excellent! Hey. I'll wait here when I waited for the ferry. The lady in front of us in the line wanted to take an item from the order, but the staff did not know the password to extract or cancel an item. They had to call a manager to get the code. They're not the employees. This is a management problem. Then we have our food. Two Peice Cod and Chips and a cup of Chowder. The Chowder was okay. The Cod was like someone in another review school cafeteria quality and it was cooked over. If I wasn't back in my car, I would have taken it back. We just tortured the last fish. Not worth the stomach pain. For price and quality, I will not go back. Hopefully it will improve in the future.

Today stopped by with my wife and dog after the park next door. Walked in lady was freindly. 2 entrees 2 sides 3 watercups. 52$. Wait outside foods there in 5 mins. Wife's chicken tenders soft and texture of undercooked chicken. Shes 8 months pregnant. Very disappointed slightly concerned for her health now. Thanks spuds. My chowder was probably 70 degrees me being a chef wished for hot chowder. But was lumpy and cold. My dog finished that for me. But my fish n chips so undercooked a river of freezer water poured out of my cod and spilled water all over my fries an experience we've never had thanks spuds. As for the clam chowder, it was even worse! At first, the bowl wasn’t filled more than halfway, which made us feel like we were being cheated. The chowder was burnt, watery, and completely lacking in flavor. There were only about five small pieces of potato and mussel in it. I usually don’t complain about food in restaurants, even when it's not up to par, but I felt I had to say something about the chowder. When I mentioned to a young male employee that it tasted burnt, I politely asked for a refund. Instead of being helpful, he rudely asked if we had eaten any of it. Yes, we wanted to give it a try!
