"Very much improved over what it has been over the last couple years. The service was great. The wings are huge almost too big really. I think they need to be cooked longer so the texture isn't so soft. I would prefer them to be sauced instead of dry with dipping sauce and some celery and/or carrots always go good with wings. My wife really enjoyed the Salt Creek Margarita and I enjoyed the Otherside Smoked old fashion. Limited but decent beer selection. The only dessert option is funnel cake fries with chocolate and caramel sauce. Simple but pretty good."

"YES. What a wonderful surprise! While I rated Atmosphere a bit low, that is not what my wife and I were looking for. The food was outstanding (we ordered variations of the same dish). I can 't remember the name of it it was a Mexican styled/flavor sausage potato veggie blend topped with over medium eggs. I had hash brown sides. A minor point but for me a score is the ice. That 's a not big deal for most for me though, Winn 's ice is a Win! They have that small icey type instead of larger pieces or cubes. That made the soda and tea better (for me) than usual. Also setting this small cafe apart the employees! Everyone that I can recall was smiling and joyful. The joy was authentic not a required kind of can I help you? type of joy. It was a hometown/small town kind of welcome. This is off the normal tollway travel and many are in a hurry to get somewhere fast. Going here will add some time to get to your destination. If you have time to slow life down just a little, take the detour."

"We were pleasantly surprised by our visit to the restaurant. The seating was comfortable, and the nighttime view was refreshing. I ordered the chicken fettuccine, which came in a generous portion, although the dish itself was just average. My husband opted for the chicken fried chicken, which also came in a large serving and was very flavorful. The highlight of our meal was definitely the complimentary appetizers they served— a loaf of bread, pita, hummus, and sweet pickles. They were all absolutely delicious! We noticed that the steaks ordered by other guests looked amazing, but they were a bit too pricey for us, starting at $40. Since we own a cow, we're able to prepare our steaks just the way we like them for much less than restaurant prices. However, I've heard from many others that those who don’t have that option say their steaks are some of the best they've ever tasted."

"After struggling to find two other restaurants in the area without any luck, we decided to give this one a try. The server was fantastic—very attentive and helpful, even though it was quite busy. We ordered two hamburgers and alligator. While the hamburgers were decent, I didn’t think they were worth the $14 price tag. The fries were freshly hand-cut and delicious, and the mushrooms were amazing. The alligator was surprisingly tasty, and the salad bar had a great variety of options. Overall, the food was good, and the view was nice; I look forward to returning in the summer. The only downside for me was the pricing. Our meal, which included two burgers, two beers, and tea, came to $50. If I'm paying that much, I expect perfection."
