"Very much improved over what it has been over the last couple years. The service was great. The wings are huge almost too big really. I think they need to be cooked longer so the texture isn't so soft. I would prefer them to be sauced instead of dry with dipping sauce and some celery and/or carrots always go good with wings. My wife really enjoyed the Salt Creek Margarita and I enjoyed the Otherside Smoked old fashion. Limited but decent beer selection. The only dessert option is funnel cake fries with chocolate and caramel sauce. Simple but pretty good."

"YES. What a wonderful surprise! While I rated Atmosphere a bit low, that is not what my wife and I were looking for. The food was outstanding (we ordered variations of the same dish). I can 't remember the name of it it was a Mexican styled/flavor sausage potato veggie blend topped with over medium eggs. I had hash brown sides. A minor point but for me a score is the ice. That 's a not big deal for most for me though, Winn 's ice is a Win! They have that small icey type instead of larger pieces or cubes. That made the soda and tea better (for me) than usual. Also setting this small cafe apart the employees! Everyone that I can recall was smiling and joyful. The joy was authentic not a required kind of can I help you? type of joy. It was a hometown/small town kind of welcome. This is off the normal tollway travel and many are in a hurry to get somewhere fast. Going here will add some time to get to your destination. If you have time to slow life down just a little, take the detour."

"After struggling to find two other restaurants in the area, we stumbled upon this one and decided to give it a shot. Our server was fantastic—very attentive and helpful, even though she was quite busy. We ordered two hamburgers and some alligator. The hamburgers were decent, but for me, they weren't worth the $14 price tag. The hand-cut fries were fresh and delicious, and the mushrooms were amazing. The alligator was surprisingly good as well, and the salad bar offered a great variety of options. Overall, the food was enjoyable. The view was beautiful, and I'm looking forward to coming back in the summer. The only downside for me was the pricing. Our meal, which consisted of two burgers, two beers, and tea, came to $50. At that price point, I expect perfection."

"Great prices, everything was around 12.00 or less, but I suppose you get what you pay for applies. The food was pretty much any small town Mexican food place in style, beans had very little flavor and ordered a Mexican ribeye which was very freezer burned, had some bad taste to it and the chili relleno was still frozen(they microwave them when you order them)...the server was great so we tipped her well based on her performance but the food was pretty bad. Your better off getting fast food or just warming up some beans and tortillas and calling it a night."
