Storming Crab Seafood Lexington

I absolutely loved the food at this restaurant. Our waitress, Ciera, was fantastic! She was funny, friendly, and very helpful since it was our first visit. I will definitely be returning! I highly recommend it! Food: 5/5

I had a wonderful meal! I highly recommend the Family Boil and the whole lobster boil. Both dishes were outstanding and on par with the seafood boils we enjoyed in New Orleans, yet they were much more affordable here. The service was quick and welcoming! Food: 5/5 Ver carta

This place was really good and you get a lot of food. The best part was the services. The people were so nice and kid friendly! The staff boxed all of our food for us. The manager Sarah was so wonderful to our family!Kid-friendliness: Service was so wonderful and accommodating.

Haven't been to a seafood boil place in ages and this hit the spot! Very friendly staff and food was so good! I have no idea how they made that cheesy garlic bread but i could have eaten a whole loaf! The shrimp boil with old bay, potato and corn was soooo good. Hubby had the gumbo and it was really good, too!

We had a great dinner experience. Our server, Steve, was super friendly, attentive, and helpful explaining the menu and accurately describing the various spiciness levels from which we could choose. It was evident that the staff was working as a team, which is always nice to see. Everyone was paying attention to the people dining there, and every table around us was checked on several times. The price reflected in this review included the boil bag for which they are known with the lobster tails and 3 alcoholic beverages as well as a couple appetizers. I previously visited this restaurant and decided to come back today for a special birthday dinner. The staff were friendly and the service was generally good. However, I have to mention some drawbacks. Since this place specializes in crab, I expected the crab dishes to be exceptional. While I anticipated a high price for a crab dinner, I was disappointed to find that more than half of my order was overcooked, making it difficult to extract the meat from the legs. I ended up giving up on the smaller pieces entirely. Although it still tasted good, the overcooking made the effort to enjoy the crab frustrating. I took myself out to dinner at this restaurant because I really enjoy seafood. This was the worst seafood I have ever tasted. Furthermore, it made me very ill. The food was not fresh and the service was not good at all. The thing is I went right after work and there were maybe two other customers in the entire restaurant. My waitress Courtney did not even offer to fill my iced tea. I spent almost $100 on this meal for myself only and it was not worth anything at all. My ticket #21 and I was at the Nicholasville Rd location in Lexington, KY on 05/15/23 at 5:06 pm. I will never return to this restaurant. Please have someone check the food for freshness and have a mystery shopper visit to check...

My family loves Storming Crab, any location but this one. The night started with a quoted wait time of 20-25 minutes. I thought that was awesome for a Saturday night. After 45 minutes I went to inquire about how much longer our wait would be, only to find that someone else had come in and taken our place in line. The fact that another family of 7 with our same name just happened to be there at the same time as us seemed a little suspicious, but we were seated within 10 minutes of me going back in, so it was fine. There are signs stating that parties of 7 or more will automatically have an 18% gratuity added to their bill. While I don’t like this practice, there is nothing I can do about it.... Ver carta
