"We were looking for some good food to celebrate and we’ve eaten their pizza before do we picked them. We wanted the brisket and beer cheese appetizer but it wasn’t on the online menu. I called the restaurant and the woman I spoke with was so incredibly helpful, perfect definition of above and beyond. We were not disappointed with the dip, the super smoky brisket permeated the whole dip and it was amazing! My wife got a wrap and raved about it. I got the javelina honey pizza and the amount of sweetness was just perfect. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this place."

"We're going back to Boo's. I can’t wait to go back and bring friends. My wife and I stopped in for dinner on a Monday and we were surprised to find a good size crowd on an “off” night. We were greeted and seated quickly by a friendly staff.<br/ <br/ I ordered shrimp stuffed with cheese and a tweak of jalapeño wrapped with bacon. My wife had crab-and-shrimp-stuffed tilapia. When our crab cake appetizers arrived, I said to my wife “Oh yeah. This is going to be a good night,” because in front of us were four big, delicious made-from-scratch crab cakes with minced red and green peppers. Yum.<br/ <br/ The main dishes were equally delicious and fresh and we talked about our food throughout the meal.<br/ <br/ The place is big and can handle large groups. It has a smoking section. There is a full bar adjacent to a smoking/dining area which can seat about 12 at small tables and a few in bar atmosphere. We sat in the larger non-smoking area and had no smell of smoke. The main part of the restaurant is big, bright and decorated casual Mardi Gras style."

"I got a chopped sandwich with green beans and macaroni and cheese. For dessert I had the banana pudding. The chopped sandwich was just ok, it could've been better. Now for the sides. The green beans were very bland and I didn't taste much seasoning to them. The Mac and cheese to me was just nasty. Now to the banana pudding, this banana pudding had the worst bitter taste. For the money I paid to eat this lunch, I feel like it was way over priced for the quality of food I got Service: Takeaway Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 3 Recommended dishes: Sandwich, Chopped Beef Sandwich"

"On a positive note, the restaurant itself is beautiful and clean, and the music was just right. I really wanted the food to be exceptional. For the quality I received, I would have felt better paying $12 for that sandwich. In terms of meat flavor, I think Chick-fil-A does it better. The atmosphere and the overall design of the place suggest a higher standard, so I was expecting above-average food, but I left disappointed. The meat could use more juiciness and flavor. I understand they may not be able to smoke the meat for 10 hours, but there needs to be an improvement in food quality. The chips weren't soggy, but they were so bland—I'm not even sure if they had salt on them. I dipped them in ranch dressing just to make them edible. I appreciated the BBQ sauce being served on the side; it had a sweet taste but was just okay—not memorable at all. Given the restaurant’s appearance, I expected much more. That's why I'm giving it 4 stars: the owners clearly invested a lot of money and thought into the design and ambiance. However, they might want to rethink the menu and add some more flair. Just my two cents. Although we’re not locals, I doubt we’ll return. There are other places we’d be willing to travel for, but unfortunately, this isn’t one of them. I'm sharing this review because I'm hoping someone can create a sandwich that rivals my dad's BBQ. So far, his cooking is the best I've experienced."

"I was really disappointed with my recent visit. I didn’t even make it to the order stage for lunch. It took a long time to be seated, and no one asked for my drink order or brought me the complimentary chips and salsa. After watching two tables that arrived after me get served, I decided to leave, and nobody seemed to care. I used to love this place, but I feel like they just don’t want me there anymore. I’m telling all my friends to steer clear of this restaurant. I can’t tolerate rude service, and fortunately, I don’t have to. Now I need to find a new spot for my Friday lunches, but honestly, I receive better service at the Taco Bell across the street, and that really says something. Thanks, LaPlayaMaya."
