"Louis Prima on the PA when we arrived! My wife got Shrimp Alfredo (15), I got the Eggplant Parmagiana (11). Both were competent delicious, but mine had a not so unusual flaw: Chef got in a hurry and the pasta wasn't given time to drain, resulting in a puddle on my plate. (something the server should have caught) Aside from that, a good portion of spaghetti with my eggplant. My wife got the Tiramisu (6) which was moist, but not wet. "We went to Ruston tonight and while the food was very good, the service was terrible. They were not very busy when we arrived. Our drinks were almost always empty, we kept having to ask for refills and the waitress seemed to have an attitude and acted inconvenienced every question or request we had. On one refill my husband got sweet instead of unsweetened tea, and when he asked her to fix it, she sat there for a good thirty seconds looking at him like he was stupid or she didn’t understand the problem. The food took forever to come out, but when it did arrive it was hot and tasted good. The tomahawk was disappointingly small for the large price tag. Was also disappointed by the tiny kids menu. 2 choices; grilled cheese or chicken tenders. You could do better. Over all we were impressed with the quality and flavor of the food, but very put off by the service. It ruined our dinner. When I’m paying over $400 on a meal, I expect to be wined and dined and treated like you are at least happy I’m there. Especially when you add gratuity (we had 7 people) and get more than $50 tip for subpar service. Also when I took my daughter to the restroom, our waitress was in there visiting with (I’m assuming) another waitress in the stall. When we came in our waitress told the person in the stall “ok I’m gonna head back out” and then left without washing her hands. Then the person in the stall finished her business, flushed, and also exited without washing her hands. Disgusting and unacceptable. I don’t think we will be back. I can go other places with the same quality food and price tag, and actually get treated with concierge customer service."

"Chick Fil A in Ennis is the easiest Chick Fil A I've ever worked with! We order from them twice a month for Celebrate Recovery at The Avenue Church. They always do an excellent job. We order catering and do the pick up option. It's always waiting for us! The food is always packaged just right and food stays hot all the way to when we are ready to serve it! Always fresh! The location is also very convenient for us, lots of parking and traffic flows nicely! I love interacting with the whole staff! They give it that small town feel very friendly and serving to others! Always on task! I enjoy the weeks we do Chick Fil A night I never have to worry about it! Thank you for all that you do Ennis Chick Fil A!"

"I had an absolutely unfortunate experience at this restaurant. The waiter, Kennedy, was overheard on the walkie-talkie saying that she was watching us as if we were some sort of animals while I was trying to pay. Before that, when I asked for the check, she inquired whether I would be paying with cash or card. I mentioned I would use a card, and as we know, the transaction is typically completed using a machine. She took my card but then claimed that people had been leaving without paying. I told her that was not the case for us. Interestingly, there were some European patrons seated behind me who were not subjected to the same treatment I received before paying. It felt like she was racially profiling my family and me. I will be reaching out to corporate to file a formal complaint. Although the manager apologized, it was too little too late. "A gratuity was included on my bill without my consent. After discussing the issue, the server claimed to have voided the charge. However, when I later checked my account, I saw that the original bill was still being processed. Tips are not the restaurant owner's money to charge or keep; they belong to the service staff."
