The Bog Tavern - Carta

The views are spectacular, and the food is fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is very relaxing, making for an overall delightful experience! If they offer the coconut-crusted mahi on the menu, be sure to try it!

Our family loves going to The Bog or simply getting take out. Bryan and the chefs go beyond for their customers! Thank you for thinking of us and our notes when ordering. Have been going to The BOG for many years, back when Kirk , part owner/ chef was on his game he was one of the best chefs around, something has taken a 180° turn because the food now sucks actually if you spell The BOG backwards that’s what the food is GOB . Really like this place. Unassuming location with great decor and seating. On the deck in the summer is always good. Let me tell you, the food is good, but the pork wings blew my hair back. Seasoning and cook was 100%. Everything about this particular app was perfect. No flaws at all. Mains are all good, and service is great. Live music regularly and specials that make this place stand out. Visit!

Our server Mark was great. And as usual, the food was very good. But we go there to sit outside and look at the view. The terrace has plastic sides that can be opened or closed. The choice, they closed on capped cod in summer with our infinity breeze that it will be extremely hot. Apparently, the manager doesn't have a healthy sense. Then another person has closed the parasol that blocks our view. I often go there the last time.

Very poor customer experience! Lovely setting however, witnessed delish looking food being served! We were litterally sitting at the bar for over an hour after being told it would be a twenty minute wait. We watched 6 folks get served dinner at thebar, a party of three at a high top get served dinner while we waited to be sat. We never even got seated and litterally walkedout. Our server, Mark, was wonderful, and as always, the food was very good. However, we visit primarily to sit outside and enjoy the view. The patio has plastic sides that can be opened or closed, but for some reason, they chose to keep them closed on Cape Cod during the summer, despite the continuous breeze making it uncomfortably hot. It seems the manager lacks common sense. To make matters worse, another staff member closed the sunshade, blocking our view. I frequent this place often, but this experience might be my last.

We had a fantastic first experience at this restaurant! Our group of about 30 gathered in their upstairs event space, and we were wonderfully taken care of by Michelle and Kim. The venue was beautifully prepared and visually appealing. The food was fantastic—delicious sandwiches, meatballs, and pasta. The homemade chips were incredibly addictive, and the brownies were exceptionally dense, rich, and moist with chocolaty goodness. Michelle and Kim were very attentive and genuinely invested in making our event a success.
