My husband and I stopped in for lunch. The place is quant and the food was delicious. I asked our server which dishes were her favorite and I’m so glad I did. The Hodgepodge was amazing. Definitely recommend.

Fabulous food and service! The fried cod is flaky and delicious. The coleslaw and hush puppies are the best I have ever had. Big thumbs up for the delicious homemade key lime pie. Place decor is quirky and beachy. Don't miss it!

Great food. Only complaint waitress never returned to service us after she brought out our food.just a I’m sorry after I mentioned it at the checkout. Never have had that kind of service there. Also they charge 3.5 on orders also Ver carta

The staff worked hard, they were efficient but the food was less than par and unfortunately I won't ever come back. There were lots of good reviews but it just wasn't that good. Crab cakes were horrible. Fried scallops tasted like chlorine water. Hush puppies were not very good either.

We read the reviews and just had to try it. Server skipped us twice to wait on “regulars” I guess. After food came my wife went and asked for silverware so that we could eat. Both dishes were over cooked to us. Maybe that is the way they serve it all the time not sure on that. Not much seasoning. Was disappointed.

The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We ordered the shrimp and crab basket with fried mushrooms and fried green tomatoes, everything was served hot and fresh. The batter was light and flavorful, not greasy at all. It was the only restaurant we could find in Carabelle, but we were glad we stumbled upon it. Ver carta

This is a fantastic, classic seafood restaurant. They offer a variety of fresh seafood options that can be prepared fried, grilled, or blackened. The menu is beautifully curated, featuring a selection of appetizers, seafood baskets, dinners, and a children's menu. I tried the fried grouper dinner and it was excellent. My wife enjoyed the fried snapper and black shrimp, and she was very satisfied with her meal. Our waitress provided excellent service, keeping our drinks refilled. The food was served quickly and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this restaurant for delicious seafood.

the fish dishes here are not too bad at all. we ordered the cloak basket, some scallops a la cart and the cod basket. if they order the basket, then they can choose a side to go with it. the garnels were broken and deep fried to perfection. I was particularly impressed by the taste of the teig that was not too salty or too pale. if they are hungry, the baskets do not have particularly large portions, so they go to dinner. the decoration was acceptable as it seems to be an old house rebuilding. the waiting staff was very polite and helpful. when they are in carabelle and like seafood, they give this place a try.

When you visit a restaurant in a small town, you never quite know what to expect, especially if it's housed in an old building or, in this particular case, a converted old house with multiple dining rooms. However, I was pleasantly surprised by my experience here. The service was quick and friendly, but the real standout was the food. The seafood platter was generous, featuring a large portion of grouper, a dozen shrimp, around 25 bay scallops, a crab cake, 2 hush puppies, and a choice of 2 sides (I opted for corn nuggets and cheesy grits).
