I was pleasantly surprised to see a dedicated vegan section on their menu featuring a few Just Egg-based options. I had the frittata and it was great. Only complaint is I wish they had vegan pancakes or waffles!

Really homey feel the minute you enter! Super friendly staff as well. I got the vegan chilaquiles with a side of vegan sour cream, as well as the vegan French toast. The chilaquiles has SO much flavor, and was served with vegan egg on the side. Everything was super super delicious!

The food and service at this restaurant are both fantastic. The vegan menu is well-thought-out and not just an afterthought. Just be aware that the portion sizes are quite large - I ordered the garden scramble and couldn't finish it all, even though I ate until I was uncomfortably full. One of the only brunch places in Naperville that has a dedicated vegan menu instead of just oatmeal. I got the vegan breakfast burrito. The size of the burrito was humongous, yielding two additional meals at home. Their hash browns were delicious as well. Service wise, my coffee cup was never empty. Price wise, this was way cheaper than what I would pay for vegan brunch in Vegas. Definitely will come back here the next time I am in town.

I have a minor complaint about Happy Cow, but this diner in the suburbs of Illinois really impressed me. Lucky Penny deserves 5 stars for their substantial vegan options, which I found to be even better than some fully vegan restaurants. I enjoyed a classic diner meal of pancakes with maple syrup, hashbrowns, and eggs, just like I did as a kid. Lucky Penny's food was hearty and nostalgic, without any strange flavors or coloring. Sometimes I just want to feel normal, and Lucky Penny provided that for me. Thank you, Lucky Penny!

I wish I could give this place five stars, but I just learned that that rating is reserved for exclusively vegan restaurants. Fine. This place has a dedicated vegan menu with an assortment of Just Egg options. This was one of the best savory vegan breakfasts I've ever had! I'm actually happy that this place isn't exclusively vegan because I know a lot of non vegans, and it's often quite difficult to find a restaurant that they are also happy with (especiallyin the suburbs). But people looking for traditional breakfast will also love this place. This will definitely be my family's new breakfast spot! Ver carta
