A good place for people with different diets. They can serve you vegetarian. Vegan and gluten-free, as well as eggs, etc. They are very willing to make many dishes vegan.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a whole section of vegan options on the menu, including dishes made with Just Egg. I tried the Frittata and it was delicious. I do wish they offered vegan pancakes or waffles as well!

Really homey feel the minute you enter! Super friendly staff as well. I got the vegan chilaquiles with a side of vegan sour cream, as well as the vegan French toast. The chilaquiles has SO much flavor, and was served with vegan egg on the side. Everything was super super delicious!

The waitress asked me what type of toast I wanted. When I inquired about vegan options, she initially had no information. I declined the gluten-free option and later learned that the wheat bread was actually vegan. It was just a misunderstanding. The waitress updated me on this information on 2023-02-24.

The food and service at this restaurant are both fantastic. The vegan menu is well-thought-out and not just an afterthought. Just be aware that the portion sizes are quite large - I ordered the garden scramble and couldn't finish it all, even though I ate until I was uncomfortably full. This Naperville restaurant is one of the few brunch spots that offers a separate vegan menu, instead of just offering oatmeal. I tried the vegan breakfast burrito, which was surprisingly filling and provided enough for two extra meals at home. The hash browns were also tasty. The service was excellent, with my coffee cup never empty. The prices were much more affordable compared to vegan brunch options in Vegas. I will definitely be returning the next time I'm in town.

I have a minor complaint about Happy Cow, but this diner in the suburbs of Illinois really impressed me. Lucky Penny deserves 5 stars for their substantial vegan options, which I found to be even better than some fully vegan restaurants. I enjoyed a classic diner meal of pancakes with maple syrup, hashbrowns, and eggs, just like I did as a kid. Lucky Penny's food was hearty and nostalgic, without any strange flavors or coloring. Sometimes I just want to feel normal, and Lucky Penny provided that for me. Thank you, Lucky Penny!

I wish I could give this place five stars, but I just learned that this review is reserved exclusively for vegan restaurants. Good. This place has a dedicated vegan menu with an assortment of Just Egg options. That was one of the best delicious vegan breakfasts I ever had! I am really happy that this place is not exclusively vegan because I am many not vegan, and it is often quite difficult to find a restaurant with which they are also happy (especially in suburbs). But people looking for traditional breakfast will also love this place. This will definitely be the new breakfast place of my family! Voir le carte
