"Been coming here for years and I always get my (snakebite) or (Black Velvet). It is a Guinness on top with a cider on the bottom. The drink looks great and it is my metaphor of life. The sweet isn't as sweet without the bitter. They serve food here but I have only eaten the wings, which are solid. There is an upstairs that allows for some private dining. There are TV's upstairs and downstairs if you are interested in watching a game. You can select some tunes to play if you are in the mood. It has a great vibe here and is a nice place to come and chill and have a beer. It is walking distance for me so I don't need to worry about parking. I believe there is street parking as well as parking behind the building. It is also close to a lot of other options so if you want to have some variety then Riverside Blvd is a perfect place to post up. Do it! I dare you."

One of the most popular neighborhood bars in Toluca Lake. I haven't eaten here, but I've enjoyed many whiskies and beers.

The food is really good. Beer selection is great to. I go here at least once a month. Happy hour from 3-7 is great, because they have free snacks, but I'd get there before 6, otherwise sometimes they are already putting the free stuff away. I love the Irish Nachos!

It's been one of my favorite pubs in LA since my first visit there 7 years ago. It's been awhile since I'd last been there but my recent visit reminded me of why: the great people in both sides of the bar, the excellent food selection of craft beers, not to mention all their other beverage choices. "Easily my favorite bakery in LA!!! Being French, I feel like it's so hard to find good authentic French bakeries but Lou sets the bar soooooo high! No other bakeries have topped Lou's. The croissants are *chef's kiss*, they're flaky, buttery and taste delicious EVERY TIME! I also like their chocolate bread (pain au chocolat) and eclairs, though the eclairs are much sweeter so if you're into that, definitely give them a try! I really love how they are consistent with their pastries. There was never a time when I was disappointed. Now keep in mind they get very busy on the weekend, the wait can be long like 20 mins, especially if you order sandwiches (which by the way, are delicious too and worth it!!! I tried the chicken and turkey sandwiches and would highly recommend them). I think they run out of baguettes after 1pm or even sooner sometimes so if you want baguettes or sandwiches, definitely show up earlier. Even their drinks are so good, I always get their vanilla latte and once again, it tastes delicious e-ve-ry single time! Wanna know another thing I love about this place? The service! Every time we ordered sandwiches and the wait was long, they'd give us a heads up before finalizing our order in case we wanted to skip the sandwiches. One time, there was a mixup which resulted in us getting our sandwiches later than expected so to apologize for the wait, they offered us a croissant * * You will also often see Lou, the chef and owner, walk around and say hi to his customers. He may even sit with them and chat for a few minutes. He seems to know a lot of people in the neighborhood and that's actually how it is in France. Bakeries are in every corner and we love our bakers! Anyway I know this is now a super long review but I only have amazing things to say about this place, their food, the chef and the staff. I just wish they'd open every day"

"Deja Vu Cakes is a fantastic bakery that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a delicious treat. This family-owned bakery is run by a husband and wife who bake everything on-site, and their commitment to using only all-natural ingredients with no artificial additives is admirable.I visited this bakery on St. Patrick's Day, my experience was nothing short of wonderful. The staff was very friendly and hospitable, making me feel welcome and appreciated from the moment I walked in. They had a fantastic selection of seasonal cupcakes displayed top-level of the display case that are beautifully decorated and a sight to behold which included the St. Patrick's Day cupcake with a gold coin on top. The St. Patrick's Day cupcake was a red velvet cake, colored green, and topped with a gold chocolate coin. The frosting was creamy and rich, and our daughter loved it.The Bailey's cupcakes had some alcohol in them, and they were a real treat. The frosting was creamy and rich, and the cupcakes were moist and flavorful. We enjoyed every bite. The bakery's prices are also reasonable, ranging from 4-5 dollars per item. The shop itself is cute and has a welcoming atmosphere, with a friendly and hospitable staff that makes the entire experience even more enjoyable.Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Deja Vu Cakes and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and friendly bakery.I highly recommend Deja Vu Cakes for their excellent customer service, quality cupcakes, and commitment to using all-natural ingredients. If you're looking for a delicious and welcoming bakery, this is the place to go."

"I recently wound up coming here two days in a row. I was up in the area for a friend's show around the corner and we stopped in after to get some food. This is a fast casual place with a similar approach as Chipotle in terms of how you can order your food, but everything is homemade and the ingredients are higher quality. You can get a plate, sandwich (2 diff sizes), or salad. They also have things like meat pies and moussaka and daily specials in terms of the meats they serve. It was a bit later (maybe 9:30pm) by the time we got there. I ordered a salad with gyro meat. The salads were huge and they were very generous with the portions of meat they put in their meals. Because it was late, the meat was a bit dry and salty but the flavors were good. I loved the spices they put on the pita bread they throw it on the grill right before they give it to you which gives it a nice crispness on the edges. All the veggies in the salad were crisp and fresh and I loved the sauces they had on the side (tzatziki and the house aioli mount olympus were my choices). The reason I came back the next day was the DESSERT CASE. They had some serious and very unique desserts and I wanted to come back and try them out. This time I wound up getting a lamb shawarma salad, which was super moist and flavorful much better than the gyro meat. For dessert, my friend and I shared a cannoli cream puff, Greek candy bar, and a piece of the salted caramel baklava cheesecake. They were so good! I'm not normally a fusion enthusiast, but the salted caramel baklava cheesecake changed my heart this was one of the best desserts I've ever eaten. My friend's favorite dessert of the three was the Greek candy bar it had a few different layers with different textures and flavors and it was also a standout. They also had baklava ice cream that I haven't tried yet. Everyone who worked here was super friendly! I will definitely be back whenever I'm in North Hollywood for that cheesecake!"
