"Been coming here for years and I always get my (snakebite) or (Black Velvet). It is a Guinness on top with a cider on the bottom. The drink looks great and it is my metaphor of life. The sweet isn't as sweet without the bitter. They serve food here but I have only eaten the wings, which are solid. There is an upstairs that allows for some private dining. There are TV's upstairs and downstairs if you are interested in watching a game. You can select some tunes to play if you are in the mood. It has a great vibe here and is a nice place to come and chill and have a beer. It is walking distance for me so I don't need to worry about parking. I believe there is street parking as well as parking behind the building. It is also close to a lot of other options so if you want to have some variety then Riverside Blvd is a perfect place to post up. Do it! I dare you."

One of the most popular neighborhood bars in Toluca Lake. I haven't eaten here, but I've enjoyed many whiskies and beers.

Wonderful Irish bar in an awesome area. Happy hour from 3-7 everyday (even weekends! Great for sports fans too! Food is amazing, recommend the fried pickle chips!

I've been coming here since my college days… It may not look like much on the outside, but it has all the essentials where it matters. The food is excellent, and the local bar vibe makes it a great spot to enjoy a drink or two… or more!

The food is really good. Beer selection is great to. I go here at least once a month. Happy hour from 3-7 is great, because they have free snacks, but I'd get there before 6, otherwise sometimes they are already putting the free stuff away. I love the Irish Nachos! View menu

It's been one of my favorite pubs in LA since my first visit there 7 years ago. It's been awhile since I'd last been there but my recent visit reminded me of why: the great people in both sides of the bar, the excellent food selection of craft beers, not to mention all their other beverage choices.

This restaurant is my absolute favorite. Out of all the places I know, it's the one I enjoy the most. I always recommend it to my friends. Whenever I crave an exceptional dinner, this restaurant is the first place that comes to mind. The food is outstanding, with a diverse menu and a rich culinary experience. The staff is well-trained, and the ambiance is truly unique. It's also worth noting that the prices are very reasonable. I wholeheartedly praise this restaurant!

I don't know why it's so hard to find a good pub in LA. They are either too chic or dip with bad food. That means Timmy was a welcome discovery. For a small pub that was usually full, the service was pretty good. Friendly, fast, no nonsense. Very appreciated. The mood was good. Good mix of people, sports, creative and regular. The food was good. Fried pickles, Irish stew and fish and chips were great. I wouldn't recommend the bread pudding, even though that was our fault to order it. Definitely want to go back and try other records and maybe see a game.

"Easily my favorite bakery in LA!!! Being French, I feel like it's so hard to find good authentic French bakeries but Lou sets the bar soooooo high! No other bakeries have topped Lou's. The croissants are *chef's kiss*, they're flaky, buttery and taste delicious EVERY TIME! I also like their chocolate bread (pain au chocolat) and eclairs, though the eclairs are much sweeter so if you're into that, definitely give them a try! I really love how they are consistent with their pastries. There was never a time when I was disappointed. Now keep in mind they get very busy on the weekend, the wait can be long like 20 mins, especially if you order sandwiches (which by the way, are delicious too and worth it!!! I tried the chicken and turkey sandwiches and would highly recommend them). I think they run out of baguettes after 1pm or even sooner sometimes so if you want baguettes or sandwiches, definitely show up earlier. Even their drinks are so good, I always get their vanilla latte and once again, it tastes delicious e-ve-ry single time! Wanna know another thing I love about this place? The service! Every time we ordered sandwiches and the wait was long, they'd give us a heads up before finalizing our order in case we wanted to skip the sandwiches. One time, there was a mixup which resulted in us getting our sandwiches later than expected so to apologize for the wait, they offered us a croissant * * You will also often see Lou, the chef and owner, walk around and say hi to his customers. He may even sit with them and chat for a few minutes. He seems to know a lot of people in the neighborhood and that's actually how it is in France. Bakeries are in every corner and we love our bakers! Anyway I know this is now a super long review but I only have amazing things to say about this place, their food, the chef and the staff. I just wish they'd open every day"

"Deja Vu Cakes is a fantastic bakery that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a delicious treat. This family-owned bakery is run by a husband and wife who bake everything on-site, and their commitment to using only all-natural ingredients with no artificial additives is admirable.I visited this bakery on St. Patrick's Day, my experience was nothing short of wonderful. The staff was very friendly and hospitable, making me feel welcome and appreciated from the moment I walked in. They had a fantastic selection of seasonal cupcakes displayed top-level of the display case that are beautifully decorated and a sight to behold which included the St. Patrick's Day cupcake with a gold coin on top. The St. Patrick's Day cupcake was a red velvet cake, colored green, and topped with a gold chocolate coin. The frosting was creamy and rich, and our daughter loved it.The Bailey's cupcakes had some alcohol in them, and they were a real treat. The frosting was creamy and rich, and the cupcakes were moist and flavorful. We enjoyed every bite. The bakery's prices are also reasonable, ranging from 4-5 dollars per item. The shop itself is cute and has a welcoming atmosphere, with a friendly and hospitable staff that makes the entire experience even more enjoyable.Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Deja Vu Cakes and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and friendly bakery.I highly recommend Deja Vu Cakes for their excellent customer service, quality cupcakes, and commitment to using all-natural ingredients. If you're looking for a delicious and welcoming bakery, this is the place to go."

"Dry chicken. Salty food. Short staffed. Limited uncomfortable indoor seating. Fruitflies/gnats everywhere. Poor air conditioning. Stale breads. They had zero idea as to what goes into a Gyro when I asked for one. Friendly staff. Counter cashier woman extreamly friendly and kind. Loooove their Excellent exotic lemonades w/ free refills. Cucumber mint lemonade etc... Excellent for gluten free, vegan, vegetarian and probably these are the people rating highly. The meat eaters, not so much. Look at the other negative reviews and they all address the same items listed above. The positive reviews don't really into quite as many specifics as to what IS good. Maybe this place was better at one time as well. Sorry for the harsh review but I'm just calling it as I see it as this is my second visit and I REALLY looked forward to it both times and ended up thoroughly disappointed disssatisfied wanting to ask for our money back TBH. Front door sticking open everytime someone opens it. So it's not cooling down inside inviting sooo many flies. Picnic table bench style seating indoors with the benches immovable and permanently affixed to the table. Difficult for someone older to get into the rock hard seating. Indoor seating consists of only three picnic tables and the rest are bar stools along the window. The chicken was 30% bone dry and 30% rock hard and leathery as it includes the skin, dried out corners/all the weird bits and the other parts you dont want which they don't take out. Gyros are way to big over stuffed bit that's them wanting to be generous with portioning word to the wise ask for half the meat on the side or whatev.. Overloaded with huge uncut, very dry and VERY COLD chunks of meat. MEAT WAS NOT HOT AT ALL. Why is the meat cold when I sit down to eat gyro sandwich immediately after waiting for staff to come around and ring people up. IDK. Gnats constantly landing into our salad/platter plates. The bugs are sooo gross and worth asking for a refund alone. No standard trays supplied for dine in. Everything is packed as a to go order period. Dont go there on a hot day. Front door is NEVER closed. Not a place to cool down whatsoever period. Gnats and fruit flies are coming from poor food storage practices and not from the door being always open from my experience in restaurants but I could be mistaken. You absolutely will end up ingesting a gnat if you dine in, because they have so many and they constantly land into your food it was REALLY BAD. The wheat pita didn't taste right at all. Something was off about that pita bread 100%. The lamb meat is VERY salty. The beef/lamb combo I ordered cold, too thick, chunkey, dry. Reason why they have good reviews is because of the price for quantity of product and alot of vegan, veggie and GF eat there and they hook you up portion wise for the money spent it's a deal if you find a dish you like and order to go. If you find a dish/meat you like and don't eat there then your in good shape. This isn't a greek vibe place whatsoever period. Its an Americanized Chipotle ordering style establishment with Mediterranean foods. Their lemonades are GREAT! Very sugery though so add lots of ice and a little unsweetened tea or water and there SOOO refreshing. Deserts probably are good too with excellent variety and look soooo tastie but also they look like they each have 3000 calories per bite. This is my second time and I had to go to the bathroom as soon as I got home. Mabee I was thinking about it too much, I dunno. Truth is, the thought and taste/texture of the meat that I had haunted me on the drive home. This establishment has potential and deserves better. I won't be back."
