"I absolutely adore this restaurant! It's the best Italian food I've had in Brooklyn to date. The lasagna and Tortellini Alfredo are personal favorites of mine. The atmosphere is unassuming and the presentation of the dishes reminds me of a charming, old-school Italian spot. However, the flavors are exceptional. Portions can be quite generous, but that's exactly what I love about Italian cuisine. You can easily make several meals out of one dish if you don't have a strong appetite for carbs like I do."

I wish I had read the reviews before coming here. Their red sauce is absolutely addictive! We began our meal with grilled shrimp and calamari, which were both fresh and delicious...

I really enjoy a straightforward, no-frills neighborhood red sauce restaurant. It's the kind of place where you'll see hardworking families and older Italian gentlemen dining, exchanging friendly greetings with...

Vinny's is a classic Italian restaurant that exudes old-school charm. The food is entirely fresh, and while their main dishes are pre-prepared, they don't compromise on quality. For takeout, this place is outstanding. Since their main... Ver carta

By far the best Italian place in Brooklyn. OG Italian food in Carol Gardens. The owner Vinny is there day in and day so friendly and always ensure that all customers are satisfied. The waitresses are absolutely amazing!!! Recommend the Calamari and chicken parmigiana with every pasta/ sauce.

I had the fried calamari, and I would rate it a 7 out of 10. I also tried the shrimp Ortega (I hope that's the correct spelling). The shrimp was boiled, and the pasta tasted bland; it seemed like the noodles came from a box. Overall, I wasn't impressed with the meal, and I won’t be returning.

The food is okay. What really got me is that their chicken park is microwaved and their penne alla vodka is microwaved as well. The clams are frozen and not fresh. However when you sit and see the ceiling and their garlands covered in dust it does raise a bit of concern whether this place is actually sanitary. Ver carta

For the basic Italian standards this place is exceptional. We had the chicken parmigiana, veal parmigiana and the fettuccine Alfredo. The chicken and veal were served over tasty baked ziti and were both top notch. I would go as far as saying that the veal parmigiana was among the best I have ever had. Small, popular place, very busy with to go orders, service was good and efficient. We will be coming back here.

Mama Mia! This place is a Brooklyn staple, and you can see why as soon as you enter this cozy lil place! Noisy just like my grandmother and mothers kitchens anytime good food was to be had! There is sooooo much love in this food you can taste it! Great service and the staff always make you feel like you are eating at your Italian families table, even if you are not family, or Italian! If you get to Brooklyn anytime soon, go eat there! Just do it!

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
