"Our table was not only dirty, with crumbs scattered all over it, but it also had only one chair. We had to take an extra chair from another table ourselves. It took nearly ten minutes just to place our drink order. Surprisingly, the owner decided to deliver our drinks himself, but his approach was rather brusque—he just dropped them on the table and asked if they were ours. Then we faced an extensive wait of around 40 minutes for our appetizers, which was frustrating, especially since it wasn’t busy (and yes, I realize it was restaurant week). To top it off, my main course was completely different from what I had ordered. The positive note was our waiter, who was genuinely apologetic for the kitchen's errors. He offered to correct my order, but I wasn’t keen on spending another four hours there. Our server was professional and polite—the shining star of the evening. He was the complete opposite of the owner, who seemed more like a caveman fumbling around the restaurant without accomplishing anything. I strongly suggest that the owner be kept away from the dining area as he lacks the skills to manage it effectively. The waiter, on the other hand, deserves recognition for his outstanding service—he should absolutely be given a raise and a promotion for having to deal with such a difficult situation. As for the food, it was mediocre at best."

"We chose to try this restaurant because we had visited before under different management and remembered the stunning view and lovely dining room, hoping the food would be an improvement from before. Unfortunately, it wasn’t! We were seated at the only table without a view, which was obstructed by a wall that jutted into the dining area. We ordered drinks but waited nearly 20 minutes before being offered menus or any specials. A complimentary bruschetta was served, made from olives and artichokes—however, mine contained bits of olive pits, and our complaint was overlooked. The menu options were so limited that choosing a dish was challenging. I went with the special appetizer of burrata cheese with arugula and prosciutto, which was delightful. My main course, however, was an incredibly bland and tasteless chicken Toscana. Two members of my party enjoyed their chicken scarpiello, while the fourth member was quite disappointed with her swordfish, which was both unappealing in presentation and flavor. Additionally, I should mention that the beautiful dining room was very bright after sunset; for those seeking a romantic atmosphere, a dimmer, candlelit setting might be preferable. On a positive note, the dessert—a chocolate espresso mousse—was absolutely divine; I just wish I hadn’t had to share it! We were also treated to a complimentary sparkling dinner wine. Since this restaurant is conveniently located in my area and is beautifully designed, I might consider giving it another chance, but I will definitely request a table with a view next time."
