"We chose to try this restaurant because we had visited before under different management and remembered the stunning view and lovely dining room, hoping the food would be an improvement from before. Unfortunately, it wasn’t! We were seated at the only table without a view, which was obstructed by a wall that jutted into the dining area. We ordered drinks but waited nearly 20 minutes before being offered menus or any specials. A complimentary bruschetta was served, made from olives and artichokes—however, mine contained bits of olive pits, and our complaint was overlooked. The menu options were so limited that choosing a dish was challenging. I went with the special appetizer of burrata cheese with arugula and prosciutto, which was delightful. My main course, however, was an incredibly bland and tasteless chicken Toscana. Two members of my party enjoyed their chicken scarpiello, while the fourth member was quite disappointed with her swordfish, which was both unappealing in presentation and flavor. Additionally, I should mention that the beautiful dining room was very bright after sunset; for those seeking a romantic atmosphere, a dimmer, candlelit setting might be preferable. On a positive note, the dessert—a chocolate espresso mousse—was absolutely divine; I just wish I hadn’t had to share it! We were also treated to a complimentary sparkling dinner wine. Since this restaurant is conveniently located in my area and is beautifully designed, I might consider giving it another chance, but I will definitely request a table with a view next time."
