Their homemade chips are wonderfully crunchy, and they boast an excellent variety of salsas. As I've mentioned in previous reviews, the quality of a Mexican restaurant can often be assessed by its salsa selection, and Maya's exceeds expectations with both mild and spicy options that are absolutely delicious. After a long drive away from the city, I left feeling warm and satisfied. I had initially stepped into two other nearby restaurants that didn't quite hit the mark, but Maya's instantly felt like home. If you're looking for a comforting and hearty Mexican meal, this is definitely the place to go."

This is a small, casual, takeout spot with a few tables (inside and out, if you?d like to stay and eat), but MOST IMPORTANTLY, their tacos are EXCELLENT! I had the vegetarian ones and was surprised at how flavorful they were. Also, the host/server Jeffreywas great! He was very attentive and gave us advice on which tacos to pick. WE WILL BE BACK!

I ordered the red chilaquiles, a classic breakfast dish served with a zesty red sauce, and it was full of flavor. My friend chose the chicken enchiladas topped with a tangy green sauce, and they were equally tasty. We also decided to include a side of roasted jalapeños for some added heat.
