"You'd think that in a dying town full of ex-miners, rednecks, and--more recently--gas workers, bars would be popping up all over the place. Unfortunately, with the closing of two of the better bars in Waynesburg, Tommy Boy's in one of the few. And unfortunate, it is. (I'm reviewing this as a bar, not as a restaurant) The atmosphere is very redneck. Cowbow boots and cheap flannels are a must if you don't want to appear high-class. They don't allow smoking inside, now, but there is an outside bar with many tables available for sitting. Unfortunately, the outside bar is never manned. Which leaves going back inside the only option. Country music and mid-2000s rap will be blasting around 180dBs, so prepare yours ears for murder. The beer selection is pretty bad. Drafts are typical for rural PA: Bud, Miller light I believe. There are only 4 beers on tap, and they're all terrible. They *do* have Angry Orchard bottles, and at $3.75, they're $0.25 cheaper than Pittsburgh's average. But Rolling Rock bottles, which are usually around $2.00-$3.00s in Pittsburgh, are $3.75. The liquors look all right, but don't get a White Russian. You will be disappointed. Very disappointed. It's not worth it. Seriously. Buy some beer and drink by yourself. Watch some Netflix. You will thank me later."
