Dickey's Barbecue Pit

Ive always wanted to try the burnt ends and it was absolutely delicious. And the brisket chili... that was by far my favorite!! If anyone trys this place you have to get some of that brisket chili. Its got a kick to it, but not too bad. My new favorite place: 

The food itself was amazing!! My only complaint is that some things werent quite right. Like my drinks came as all Dr pepper when only one should have been. Little things like that, sliced brisket instead of chopped. Nothing crazy! I do wish they paid more attention to the details but the taste is always perfect!

The brisket is exceptional—so tender and flavorful. The rib meat falls right off the bones with no effort. The mac and cheese is delicious, far surpassing any college fare. The mashed potatoes would be even better with some gravy on the side or poured on top. The lemonade is a bit diluted, and the bun is just okay. Overall, it's an amazing place to eat! Voir le carte

I ordered the three-meat plate and unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. The brisket was heavily over-seasoned, making it very difficult to eat. The pork and sausage were just okay, but nothing special. The fried okra was a struggle to get through; it was crunchy on the outside but had an oddly slimy texture on the inside, almost like a booger. The green beans were also over-seasoned. I'm not sure what went wrong—I honestly thought I was being pranked. Nothing was juicy or enjoyable about the meal. I really wanted to like this place.
