the best service we had in a long time. the waiter was very well informed about eating and the wine. he had good suggestions. we will definitely go back when we return to richmond sometime.

Great menu and great wine selection to accompany the meal. Service was just right with upfront lots of info and ability to ask questions, then left alone to just enjoy ourselves and eat and drink. Would definitely return.

Knowledgeable and skilled house. If you are gourmands, support this business. It’s a well executed fine dining authentic Basque concept. Yes, Basque… so drink sherry and cava and eat some octopus cause it’s fabulous. Tip: Bring a case of beer for the kitchen as a gift cause they work hard! Voir le carte

Great little spot I would go back again. The food was delicious, but not overly inventive or mind blowingly amazing. The service was quite good, my drink and wine were nice. For me the caveat is that overall it's a very small space and the tables are pretty packed in there, so you will be elbow to elbow with you fellow diners.

Restaurant Adarra is uniquely delicious, fun, and one of my favorite dining experiences in Richmond. Balanced cocktails, low intervention crisp and funky wines. Tangy salmorejo with marinated shrimp and crusty bread was a perfect starter for a hot summer day, followed by rich lamb stew enhanced with fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables and the classic comforting tuna conserva, each excellent. Informed, unobtrusive, well-paced hospitality at the wonderfully comfortable bar by Daniel, chef/owner Randall, and the team. A welcoming, serene space with original art and just the right energy compliments the exciting meal. The best, top of the list, must visit; nothing else is close dining and imbib...

I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I have to say I was very disappointed in my dining experience at Adarra. It’s difficult to get a reservation there, so once I was able to, I had extremely high expectations. The drinks were excellent, so no complaints there. The food, however, was not. We ordered the toasted almonds, peppers, cheese plate, tuna belly, anchovy dish, tomato salad, and gnocchi. The almonds and peppers were good, although I have to say they were on the simpler side. The tuna belly made me think I was eating quality tuna from a can soaked in olive oil. That’s the best way I can describe it. It was a bit tough and on the dry side, and I didn’t finish it.
