"The hostess was unfriendly the moment we arrived , apparently people eating there can go in and eat in beach wear attire on a Saturday evening. I understand that Florida’s casual but for an upscale restaurant anything goes???? The Steaks were over cooked and the food was cold. The restaurant was so cold inside that you couldn’t enjoy the meal, everyone at my table just wanted to leave because it was so uncomfortable cold inside the restaurant. I asked about the restaurants temperature and the server said they have had A/C issues? Unfortunately  it will be along time before I go back and eat at any Ruth Chris restaurants, there are many other steak restaurants in southwest Florida to return to and those restaurants will have a dress code standard. I am just so disappointed because I have been eating at Ruth Chris restaurants for 25 years from coast to coast and tonight was the end! Ruth Chris was a restaurant with high standards, quality food, and took they pride in their brand. They are now on the same level as Texas roadhouse. "

"Recent review: Food was ok this time. We came back after a year because the best plate hands down is the fish in their typical sauce of pescado a lo macho. No other restaurant makes it, not even Ceviche105 in Miami. My pisco was delicious too. We went twice in a week and both times we were let down on two important dishes. First with the octopus being burnt and chewy. The second time the calamari hard and chewy. Both times the waitresses agreed and even gave us feedback on how it had been the same complaint for a while but the owner chooses not to change it. Well, what can I say. ————— I’ve been a customer of this restaurant chain for years. During Covid, we stopped going because of the service and the poor quality of the food, plus the increase in prices. You can definitely increase prices and I totally understand that, but don’t lower the quality, that’s not fair. Recently, a friend of mine recommended me this location and said that the good chef from the Fort Myers location was here. So we decided to give it a try. Yesterday I called on three different occasions and the phone line was busy. I could not get a hold of anybody. Today, I decided to call and try one more time. They did answer the phone this time but as I attempted to make a reservation, I was told that it’s on a first come first serve basis. Why in the world would I drive almost an hour to a restaurant to then have the possibility of being told that there’s no available seating for my family and I or that I would have to wait quite some time? The owners should definitely reconsider this."

"I ordered a simple medium pizza and waited an exorbitant amount of time with my four year-old daughter. The initial order was to have a little bit of water for her because she was playing on the playground and was very thirsty and the first thing they brought me was my drink, and not the water for my daughter. I waited so long that I started to complain. I used to work for a pizza place. I’ve made pizza at home and for the business. I even asked them about their oven and they said they have a 6 to 7 minute conveyor belt oven, which is standard for the industry. The owner came out in a very argumentative way and tried to explain something about drying out the tomatoes, which I thought was absolutely ridiculous. Waiting over 20 minutes for one pizza with no deliveries apparent and a very small group of individuals in the actual restaurant was ridiculous. I’m never going back there again. I didn’t finish my drink and I just took my daughter and left. Apparently the owner is an idiot, that doesn’t know what the hell he’s doing. And he spoke very harshly and rudely to me in front of my daughter upon leaving. He has no decorum or respect in front of young children. Plus his menu is horrible. Specializing in only pizza and spaghetti. There was nothing more expansive on his appetizers section. I was almost ready to leave after looking at the menu a few times. "My husband and I went to SFG on a Wednesday evening around we had a reservation which was good because they were fairly busy but not on a wait. We were seated and it took minutes for someone to acknowledge us. I do not want to be negative here we know that the hospitality industry is short staffed and we also know that there are supply constraints. It should not have taken that long for water to get a drink order. Our server was adequate not really selling the menu or asking questions didn't tell us anything about the nightly specials on the printed menu. Our food took a LONG time to come and although she kept passing us by she never stopped to check in, refill water or clear any salad plates or other dishes. I know that there were other people who were upset since the table behind us finally flagged her down and asked if they had run out of food since it was taking so long for them to get their dinner. The food was very tasty and the beet salad was delicious. My husband had the beef short rib gnocchi and it was also prepared well. Make your own decision. Nice restaurant ; good food; mediocre service. The manager should have been making table visits instead of chit chatting with the servers."

"J'ai fait une réservation pour 7h30. C'était l'anniversaire de mon fils. Nous avons également séjourné au River Crab Hotel. Nous nous sommes assis à 7h45. À 8 h 05, personne n'était venu à notre table. J'ai dû demander de l'eau et à 8 h 15, un garçon nous a apporté de l'eau et a dit qu'il enverrait une serveuse. 8h30, aucune serveuse ne s'est levée et a dit à l'hôtesse d'envoyer une serveuse s'il vous plaît. 8:40 personne pour le moment. Chaque serveuse a distribué la table comme si nous n'étions même pas là. J'étais tellement bouleversé que nous nous sommes levés et avons quitté le restaurant pour aller ailleurs. Nous étions quatre et l'anniversaire de mon fils était totalement ruiné !!!!! Je n'ai jamais mal traité cela dans un restaurant de ma vie. Je ne manquerai pas de parler à mes amis du terrible service que nous avons reçu. PAS d'excuses pour ce genre de service !!!!!!!!!"
