"Of the 2 Brazilian BBQ places that recently popped up in DSM, we recommend visiting BAH as it is closer to the dining experience offered by the major Brazilian BBQ chains in the US (FDC and TDB). Of note, Brazilian BBQ is typically on the expensive side for dining. Think typical steakhouse prices. This is definitely the case for BAH, as the place is priced at the national average for steakhouses. Once you get past the price point, the advantage of going to a Brazilian steakhouse is getting a variety of meats with your meal as opposed to an a la carte serving of a single piece of meat. In addition, the AYCE aspect of Brazilian BBQ does come out to be cheaper than a typical steakhouse when you have a large appetite. Back to the review... BAH definitely offers a good representation of the cuisine style with great cocktail and wine selection, large salad/cook food selection, and top-notch service. The meat quality is definitely typical steakhouse grade. We were quite surprised by the number of patrons during our weeknight visit. We hope BAH will stick around for a while, as we really enjoy not having to drive to Chicago to eat Brazilian BBQ."

Be prepared for ALL you can eat meat... yes there is greens to eat too... and it is tasty, as a compliment to the meats. I came for the meat, and I ate. So good, so full, I could never be a vegetarian bc of delicious places like BAH.

I've visited three other Brazilian steakhouses, and I'm thrilled that this one has opened in Des Moines—it's fantastic! The variety of meats was exceptional, but the cinnamon pineapple truly stole the show. The buffet also featured a great selection of authentic Brazilian dishes. A+!

I truly adore this restaurant! It gives me a sense of being at home, which is especially meaningful to me as I'm from Brazil. I also really appreciate the option to order a small dish at the bar if you're not too hungry. And I have to say, their cheese bread is the best I’ve ever tasted!

Wanted to come visit this place for awhile. Had a great time celebrating our anniversary with my wife, place is not that big but very nice inside and very intimate. Loved the meat selection and the friendly staff. Salad bar was diverse and provided filler options between meat delivery. Will go back again soon! Voir le carte

This place is amazing wonderful food do come with an appetite. The service is fantastic from the server to the people bringing out each piece of meat for you to try. We celebrated my birthday here yesterday. They also brought out complimentary Brazilian chocolate fudge at no charge for my Birthday. Do give this place a try you will not be disappointed.

The restaurant boasts an excellent variety of appetizers and meats. The service is top-notch, with friendly and attentive waitstaff. The ambiance is striking, especially in the waiting area, which has comfortable leather seating and a bar. It’s a fantastic place for large groups, particularly if you book a reservation ahead of time. One thing to note is that parking may be a bit challenging to find, but don’t let that stop you from visiting this wonderful spot!
