Big Daddy's Diner - Carte

Our server Stacy was super kindly as well as the other servers. Easy to talk to and quick and efficient with their service. The food is delicious and the price fair. Great addition to any experience in Cloudcroft.

OMG this place was amazing. Only time I wasn't freaking out and crying about driving through mountains was when we ate here. Huge portions, fantazmal sliced brisket, and the BEST potato salad I've had outside of my mom's!!! And the view what??!!??

I came to the breakfast and it was phenomenal! the cookies and engraving were absolute perfection and everything came out right and quickly. the waitress was well informed about the menu, friendly and quick to help. I also loved the inner of the diner. highly recommended! Voir le carte

The food wasn't good. They had too much grease. And the chicken was under cooked. The price was too high for the quality of food. Our server did great and was very friendly. And the atmosphere definitely was inviting. Just not worth the price for the taste. Or lack there of.

Hash browns looked like fried sponges, didn?t taste much better. The syrup thing didn?t pour, when we took the cap off it was crusty and gross. As we were leaving they just put the cap back on and put it back in rotation, never cleaned it. Service was good, and the food was tasty, other than the hash browns.

Loved this place! The food tasted just like home cooked. The staff was super friendly and conversational. Love that! They care enough to talk to folks and find where they're from and where they're going. Some people don't care to talk to strangers but I find that if you talk to someone long enough you'll find something you have in common. And we did. I'd highly recommend this place for breakfast for sure! I can't imagine the lunch/dinner menu not being just as good. Voir le carte

sandwiches are just fine. I can't say that eating here is not good. we didn't order special plates. we only ordered a burger, a monterrey grilled chicken sandwich, a grilled cheese sandwich and fries. of these objects only the pommes were well spiced. all other was bland./ the sweet tee is delicious! and it is served in a traditional maurer jar./ we also ordered a peach-cobbler. that was the most disappointing of all. it wasn't warm and didn't taste good at all. it was probably homemade, but not tasty./ I must add that this is probably the best place to eat in the city. their menu points are actually cooked in the house, not only heated (as with the other grill restaurant on the street.) I was looking to pull up to the first diner I saw and came across Big Daddy?s. It has the classic country home cookin vibe and when I entered I was greeted by what might be the most enthusiastic hostess I?ve ever encountered. Renee, who was all of 12 years old, greeted me and informed me that I had any seat of my choice. My server, Bridgette was super nice and helpful. I struck up a conversation and she gave me some pointers on where the good camp spots were. Her service was excellent, keeping my coffee hot and quickly taking my order and serving my food.
