"My boyfriend and I decided to stop in before a movie on a Sunday night. When we arrived for our reservation, there was a live band playing for both the indoor and outdoor guests, which was a fun and welcome surprise! Almost all tables were full, and there was a nice ambient chatter throughout. When we sat, our server was friendly, timely, and knowledgeable. We split the Caesar salad and a French onion soup, which were both very good! We also each got the steak frites, one rare and one medium rare. The steaks were cooked to perfection, and the fries were crispy and well-seasoned.I knocked off one star only because it seemed a little overpriced, especially for the soup and salad, but I guess that’s just NYC for ya. It was great experience overall!"

It was our first visit based upon a recommendation. Everything was fantastic from the service, food, ambiance and the cocktails! The profiteroles were the best ever. Voir le carte

The owner/manager has a very assertive personality and lacks good telephone etiquette. Upon entering, he tends to respond to questions you haven't asked, which can create an uncomfortable atmosphere. It's not the most relaxing way to start an evening out.

Marianne was absolutely fantastic! A friend and I stumbled upon this restaurant while escaping the rain during our celebration. Marianne recommended the best chicken I've ever tasted, along with a white wine that was so delicious it was the first bottle I ever purchased. It was an incredible experience overall. This restaurant, with its lemon custard and chicken, has officially become my go-to spot!

The Onion Soup $17) was mild in taste and would have been more pleasing if the bowl did not have bread in it. The bread did not add any flavor, and did reduce the amount of onions and broth in the bowl. I rate the Onion Soup 7 points out of a possible 10. The Breast of Duck $39) was served without a sauce and medium rare, as requested. The roughly 10 pieces had an unusual texture compared to others I have had elsewhere. The duck needed a steak knife to cut it, and had little flavor. I rate it 6 points out of 10. Voir le carte

it was a mixed bag. at arrival at 7:00 clock with a reservation, we faced a packed, very loud room. we received the last table: on the central passageway for a continuous passage of the waiting staff. at the end of our meal an hour later the dinge calmed down to a pleasant tempo and a pleasant noise level. the Caesar salad was average. the duckbout was very nice, but the special ente a l’orange was a disappointment: overboiled and dry, while the orange was on the side and was not noticeable on the two duck legs. service was very good.

I recently dined at Manny’s Bistro and had a rather disappointing experience with both the owner and the staff. They were quite rude when I chose not to order a large amount of food. Instead of creating a welcoming environment, I encountered discrimination, and the owner's reaction was anything but hospitable. Comments like, "You come here to my busy restaurant and only order a soup; we are not going to pay attention to you," left a bad impression. It's disheartening to witness such behavior in a local eatery. Hospitality should always be a priority, and my visit to Manny's Bistro did not meet that expectation.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
