"My boyfriend and I decided to stop in before a movie on a Sunday night. When we arrived for our reservation, there was a live band playing for both the indoor and outdoor guests, which was a fun and welcome surprise! Almost all tables were full, and there was a nice ambient chatter throughout. When we sat, our server was friendly, timely, and knowledgeable. We split the Caesar salad and a French onion soup, which were both very good! We also each got the steak frites, one rare and one medium rare. The steaks were cooked to perfection, and the fries were crispy and well-seasoned.I knocked off one star only because it seemed a little overpriced, especially for the soup and salad, but I guess that’s just NYC for ya. It was great experience overall!"

Should be renamed Manny's horror show. Utterly uncourteous and uncouth staff and management.

The owner/manager has a very assertive personality and lacks good telephone etiquette. Upon entering, he tends to respond to questions you haven't asked, which can create an uncomfortable atmosphere. It's not the most relaxing way to start an evening out.

Marianne was absolutely fantastic! A friend and I stumbled upon this restaurant while escaping the rain during our celebration. Marianne recommended the best chicken I've ever tasted, along with a white wine that was so delicious it was the first bottle I ever purchased. It was an incredible experience overall. This restaurant, with its lemon custard and chicken, has officially become my go-to spot!

Employees were pretty rude and the outdoor seating policy seems inconsistent. I was asked for my credit card before I even ordered, while someone who sat down at a table next to me did not have to provide their card at all to eat outside.I was also shouted at when I went inside to use the bathroom.I ordered fries, they were edible. The person next to me had a salad with tuna that they said was really good. View menu

Racist staff/policies . Sat outside, for brunch. Was told I needed to provide a credit card to eat outside. (I have never had that happen to me at any restaurant where I decided to dine outside). Another patron sat at a table next to mine shortly after I was seated, but was not asked for their credit card in order to eat outside . I wouldn't have cared about the outdoor cc policy (which seems to have been made up on the spot), but the fact that it wasn't universally implemented made it seem targeted.

I recently dined at Manny’s Bistro and had a rather disappointing experience with both the owner and the staff. They were quite rude when I chose not to order a large amount of food. Instead of creating a welcoming environment, I encountered discrimination, and the owner's reaction was anything but hospitable. Comments like, "You come here to my busy restaurant and only order a soup; we are not going to pay attention to you," left a bad impression. It's disheartening to witness such behavior in a local eatery. Hospitality should always be a priority, and my visit to Manny's Bistro did not meet that expectation.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
