Brixx Wood Fired Pizza

it was a real tasty bite to be in a shopping center and to eat in a regular restaurant with great vegan options. even though the vegan options are not as prominent on the menu as they could be, vegan cheese can be replaced on any pizza for free. the pizza was delicious. we also enjoyed a good service, the casual atmosphere and the extensive bier selection.

Dropped in after shopping for dinner. Had a beer and food. The food was delicious, especially the sweet Thai chili chicken wings. The service was less than desirable. A dirty glass and dish were served that I requested replacements. The blue cheese dressing for the wings had little blue cheese flavor and was very watery. Like I said, food was great, service not so.

WOW. Absolutely delicious, didn't even have to speculate! I am usually very careful trying places, but the things I got were absolutely fresh, well prepared and not frozen. Articles: Spinach and Artichoke Dip, Südwestsalat and Lavender Martini. The bread for the dive was very soft, so you did not have to worry that it would strip the insides of the mouth. the pizza was decent, the cheese was very gooey. the menu said there would be no extra cost for vegan cheese, but if we got our bill, we have 50 cent extra per pizza for vegan cheese. it is not much extra, just a little annoying, because the menu does not say any extra fee. it was nice that the menu listed that it would be vegan and that both traditional and wheat crust vegan.

I recommend anything with pears! The pear and gorgonzola pizza is out of this world! We shared the pizza along with the pear and arugula salad. Just perfect! I think our waiter was having a rough day and it was after 9pm, so they were probably tired. That's what I'm going to believe rather than thinking they were just plain rude. In fact, most of the waitstaff looked like the life had been sucked out of them. Brixx, make sure you're treating your employees well. Customers, make sure you show kindness and tip well!

Busy when arrived at 1:30. Staff were busy, but there were 5 unbussed tables within a 20ft radius for over 30 minutes, and people waiting to be seated. Probably the major reason we were given to go cups and plastic silverware to eat with. I had a few pieces of the margarita pizza and it was tasteless. Not sure about the other 4 people's thoughts, no one was raving about it being real good, so can't comment. I personally don't care to go back. There is better pizza out there more reasonably priced. $65 for 4 11 pizzas is high! Voir le carte

Overall was a pleasant experience. The wait staff was great. Very personable and helpful. To whomever is running the oven. Work on your turning skills. Burnt crust is not what I want. Slide the paddle under a side subtly lift, and … turn. Even cook is key. Three stars as a result of the burned parts and then .. take note staff…when someone orders a cheese pizza with chicken. Perhaps they don’t wish to consume pork. Not the case here, but could easily have been an issue. Ordered a chicken pizza and a big chuck of sausage is part of that.

there are hardly any places with vegan food in the wilmington area, so it is especially nice for brixx to offer a vegan pizza. the pizza was in order. I liked all the white thin crust more than anything. also the toppings, crumbled and sauce were good. the vegan cheese is not everything to write home. there are much better vegan cheese out there! we also had the pasta pomodoro that was in order. it is a beautiful restaurant, served cocktails, right at the cinema a plus. the server was very nice, but did not know how vegan is. all in all, an OK experience, but definitiw room for improvement.

AMAZING pizza every time I go!!! You can count on consistency here. Nice smallish draft selection with a couple of oddball beers to spice it up. Outdoor and indoor seating which is covered make this a great spot in any weather. Just a few steps from the theater if you want to grab a good pizza and some drinks before your movie. Update, came back the next day and had to remove two stars due to our service. Our waiter may have been the worst customer service person I have ever met. I believe his name was Josh. He disappeared for 30 minutes and we finally asked another waitress to take our order. He eventually came back after that and was super slow with an I don’t care attitude. Never apologiz...
