"After visiting Monestario de Montserrat we are hungry and looking for a restaurant. Many restaurants are closed between Christmas and 3 Kings. Finally we arrive at La Granja de Vacarisses. It is full, but we have a dog with us and we take a seat on the terrace. It is said that it is very busy so we have to be patient. Yet we are helped quite quickly and friendly. Of course there are missing some dishes of the menu so late, but still there is choice. We are in groups and each chooses his dish from the menu. The choice is for the paella mixta, patatas bravas, croquettes and croquettes with egg. The main course is butifara, pork ribs, fried hake in romesco sauce. The paella is a bit dry but tastes good. The pork ribs are wonderfully juicy with a caramelized onion and potato. All in all an excellent price-quality ratio and surprised that this restaurant does not exceed a 3 ½ bulb. Also because the desserts come from their own kitchen and you can taste it.
