"Charr has been a favorite dining place for many years when we are in the area for medical services. It had been over 18 months since our last visit. So we were salivating for one of those meaty burgers. We arrived at the restaurant, which appeared about half full, and a local band or pick up group were preparing to play. They seemed to be testing the sound equipment constantly with that sound “testing” blasting over the speakers. Our server arrived and we placed our orders. Our beverages were delivered and then we waited for 45 minutes for our food. We ordered normal burgers. Our server did say our meal was ready several times during that delay. We could see the kitchen and the other servers. It felt like the whole place has slipped into ennui. When the server brought the last of the food she had not brought the fries that went with the burger. She asked if we wanted any fries. We told her no as it was too late. The burgers were very good; but not like we remembered. The onion rings that had always delighted us were thick with batter and mushy. So, the place was too noisy, the band was not especially concert ready, the service was inattentive, and the food not up to par. The burger meat by itself was outstanding. But that does not forgive to total experience."

Great service and food. The music choices....eh....not so much. Going from Johnny Cash to rap was a bit much, but hey, to each their own. Will definitely be dinning at Charr again.

Wouldn’t know how the food was because we were seated and then told our waiter would be right with us. After 10 minutes he had never come even once. We also heard another table complaining about how long their food was taking. We decided to cut our losses and just leave. Will not be back.

Enjoyed the atmosphere at Charr. The food was very good and the server was able to guide me to eating gluten free. The other people in my party had a burger and I had the portobello mushroom with roasted vegetables, all was very good! A band started to play during our dinner which made the restaurant louder, but lots of fun! Voir le carte

The only beef I have is with Open Table!! When I made the reservation, the only times available started at 6:45. WRONG!! We could have walked in at anytime and would have been seated. I told the waiter and he wS surprised. Everyone there was for AZ restaurant week. I won’t use open table absinthe. As far as the restaurant, definitely a repeat

First time visitor. We had a fantastic waiter. He was great at recommendations for food and drink. The bar is a nice set up. Not to many seats to where it gets overly crowded. You're going to a burger joint, so plan to get a burger. A little high priced but worth the cost for an excellent meal. The drink menu is..well.. a little strange. The mixed drinks are just odd concoctions. Our waiter actually made me a Green Tea, as a recommendation. It was delicious. During the cooler months there is nice fire pit outside with some seating, so again, it's not to crowded. Overall I would say it's one for the list of repeaters.
