Chuck's Steak House

Even though I'm not a fan of steak, I have to admit that Chuck's Seafood at this restaurant is outstanding. Their scrod and crab cakes are the best in Connecticut.

The food was excellent and the waitress provided great service. The chef cooked our meals perfectly and they were delivered to our table quickly. I can't wait to return.

Best salad bar anywhere! If you haven't enjoyed a fine meal here yet, you should. The back room on left with huge fireplace is especially cozy. There's amazing big fish tanks in middle of restaurant, too! Voir le carte

My husband got a burger and really enjoyed it. The steak stir fry was okay. They have a salad bar in the middle of the restaurant with a variety of options. The fried calamari was average. They also have truffles near the entrance for purchasing.

Stopped here for a light fare wasn?t disappointed! The bar area has a nice sitting area a rip roaring fireplace for those chilly nights! Service was great as was the calamari, lettuce wedge with chucks of blue cheese the size of a nickel! You won?tbe sorry if you sop here.

We love the atmosphere and service, especially at off peak hours. The filet mignon steak was very good not perfect, not mid town Manhattan perfection, but very good at a fair price. I particularly enjoyed watching it grilled in the open kitchen.But, my wife's fish and chips order was very disappointing. Stick to steaks in a steak house. Voir le carte

Although the menu options have slimmed down significantly since the new ownership (still miss the sliders and truffle fries), the drinks and food that we ordered were very delicious. The salad bar is still as amazing as it was previously, and the staff were very friendly. Overall going to Chucks was a nice experience, and we will most likely return in the near future.

We've been coming to Chuck's for decades. Always a consistently good meal because we never get anything but steak or prime rib. Was here last weekend for a quiet dinner for two. Staff was super attentive without being intrusive, service was quick, food wasdelicious. Arrived around 5:00pm on a Saturday, were sat immediately, probably had our meals by 5:30, and they did notdisappoint. We can always count on Chuck's for a quality meal.

This place was packed to the rafters with happy customers! PLEASE MAKE RESERVATIONS! I arrived at 5:30P on a Saturday customers had to be turned away at the door! FYI my friends I didn't call ahead. So, we wound up going to the bar eating there. The bar offers the entire menu is large enough to eat at comfortably! Parking: Many handicapped spots immediately outside the front door. The parking lot goes, literally, ¾ of the way around the restaurant! Kid friendliness: Frankly, not the kind of place I'd take a youngster to. While there are placemats crayons for kids to enjoy, I don't think a child would the type of food offered. In my estimation, it's rather pricey for a child's meal. Wheelchai... Voir le carte
