Coconuts Caribbean Restaurant Bar

Food is great! Like Hawaiian style. Ordered the coconut shrimp and jerk chicken wings, the coconut shrimp with guava dipping sauce is really amazing! Please be noticed that some prices are not matched with the price on menu.

Went here for an early dinner. The restaurant has ample indoor and outdoor seating. There are interesting drinks and a good selection of Caribbean dishes. The goat curry was tasty and the ribs were a child favorite. The jerk chicken was just ok and the meal took a long time, even getting the drinks and bill.

I like their cocktails, they tasted extremely nice and which is why I am biased to give them good reviews. Although, I am a Vegetarian and I took their vegetarian coconut curry, my taste buds have not known anything more bland than that. : I liked the fried banana in them though, they went surprisingly well with this turmeric-y curry. Pretty good place, busy during Friday evening. Jerky chicken and pork ribs were great. The vegeterian option curried tofu was not good. The whole vibe of the place was nice. They had a bar and they serve alcohol. Service was okay. We went during the busy time and had to wait a long time to get a server come to our table. Overall, 4 stars.

Love this place Have been coming here since it was Coconut Caribbean, like a decade ago. The quality of food hasn't changed. The mutton dish is still to die for. The jerk chicken is awesome and the shrimp and salmon are yum. It's always a pleasure to come back here and have a meal which seems so homely and yummy. My top pick here is the mutton dish and then the shrimp, followed by everything else.

We came around 3pm, but we waited a long time to get our order placed and then the hostess/waitress only came to deliver the food. Never came back to check on us or give us the bill. We had to go to the front and ask to pay and for a to go box. Really bad service but food was good. We ordered Da Pill drink and it was not good at all. Tasted too acidic and the milk curded would not suggest that drink. Voir le carte

Very slow service, had to wait for more than 20minutes just to get seated. Once we were seated, they took 10-15minutes just to get water and then take our order. I’m a vegetarian and ordered coconut curry tofu. The tofu was so bland and curry was very spicy. It almost tasted like Thai food and not Jamaican. Portion size was huge but food not up to the hype at all. I liked their buttermilk cornbread and I would recommend that

Food: There are two clearly labeled vegan options on the menu, the jerk tofu and the coconut tofu. Not the biggest fan when tofu is much more expensive than the chicken (20% . The dish was not bad; the tofu was alright, but not particularly spicy. The rice and beans were alright as well. The sweet plantains here are just fantastic though. Drinks: I wasn’t given the drinks menu and just had water. Wait: No wait time on a weekday night.

Good experience overall! Came for dinner on a Saturday night the place wasn’t very full but it still took a while for us (party of 2) to get seated. Despite that, the waiters were extremely kind and courteous and made us feel very comfortable. We ordered the jerk chicken and oxtail combo plate as well as the coconut shrimp appetizer for 2 people, this was more than enough food. The combo plate was supposed to come with plantains but they forgot to include them however when we asked the waiter, she kindly brought them out to us.
