"Exceptional!! I started with the restaurant's Manhattan plus some extra ingredients. The bartender (a very nice young lady) was SPOT ON with it! The wine selection was extensive and priced ok'. Then I had the Ceasar salad and asked for anchovies on top the waitress forgot the anchovies and had to go back and get them. And for my main course, I had shrimp and clams over pasta and switched it from red sauce to white sauce. The food, drink, wine, menu, and ambiance were all wonderful. The waitress was new and I'd recommend some more training. She did not know' the menu or what the dishes were. She brought my Manhattan and wine and salad altogether. I was finished with the drink and salad perhaps for min before the main course arrived. However, all in all, it was an exceptional dinner outstanding restaurant!! I'll return!!"

"While I have always loved Michael?s Grill this was the 3rd bad experience we had in a row. I?ll only comment on my recent visit. The service from the man at the counter was great! He was friendly and informative. I ordered a half catfish plate which was $15. I was shocked when I got home and saw the portion size. I added the cracker for reference of the cat fish sticks and sides. One slice of bread was the same size as all the sticks together! This is a child?s portion but was on the regular menu. I bought this for my husband. If ordering catfish has gotten too expensive just take it off of the menu! Seriously, this establishment should be embarrassed serving this plate. Last, you guys had an employee standing outside when I went in. He was still there when I left and followed me around to the other side of the building. Not acceptable and really creepy!! I hope you get it together! This place use to be amazing!"

"Just finished eating here.First of, it’s about time that Midland got a Mediterranean Restaurant, so that’s a big plus. I’ve been flying through here for 9 years and this is the first time to see a Mediterranean option on Google maps. Well done.Now for the food.To be fair, I’m spoiled by all the good Mediterranean restaurants in the DFW area, so take this with a grain of salt or some garlic sauce and Tzaziki, lol.I ordered the Lamb Gyro over Saffron rice, with the side choice of hummus and a salad of Tabouli, and “Iraqi tea.”The first impression was that for the price, the portions were ok, maybe a tad small, but that’s ok. I was a bit surprised that it came in plastic containers and we weren’t initially provided with utensils, which would be an immediate service improvement.The gyro meat didn’t taste very strongly of lamb, but was nicely seasoned and certainty not bad. It was on top of the rice with some tomatoes and yogurt sauce.The saffron rice was good, and I chose to mix it with the hummus, which turned out nicely. The hummus itself was a tad bland, but definitely not bad. It favors those who aren’t into as many spices like the hummus with paprika on top that I had last night in Dallas.The tabouli which is a favorite dish of mine was the biggest letdown as it was reasonably expensive for the amount in the plastic bowl, and also a bit bland. A bit more lemon juice or something would help it tremendously.Overall, it’s probably three and a half stars for me, but I’m giving this a four instead of a three, because it’s currently the best Mediterranean food at a restaurant in Midland or anywhere nearby and perhaps it will improve as they get established.Regarding the Iraqi Tea it basically tasted identical to the Earl Gray tea I had back in Dallas before the flight."

"Most overpriced place in town for less than average food... Employees all smell like alcohol when waiting on you. Orders messed up multiple times due to that fact I would guess.... Just a terrible place in general, highly suggest Venezia, food is actually fresh and a lot better. Go at your own risk and watch out for the split plate charge of $4.... Price gouging..."
