I had an amazing dinner with a beautiful view at Coveside. The service was fantastic and the drinks were top-notch. I highly recommend checking out the special board. Dining in for dinner cost around $30-50 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all get a perfect score of 5. I suggest trying the Jumbo Lobster Roll. The only downside was that parking was a bit tricky to find, but there is a free parking lot available.

Initially, I want to say , Let 's keep this a secret , but that would be wrong. Love Coveside. I took my father there for lunch, and it couldn 't have been better. There was not even a twinge of attitude when I asked if my dog could accompany us on the porch. The hostess was kind, our server was pleasant, and the food and drinks were delicious. I am amazed that this restaurant is thriving this summer despite the challenges in the restaurant industry. I am thankful for their great location overlooking beautiful Christmas Bay in Maine. While many dishes are good, the standout for me this summer was the steamed mussels from Prince Edward Island, Canada. They are served with a delicious garlic-wine sauce that is to die for. The beer and wine selections are also top-notch. The restaurant is owned by a local entrepreneur who curates fantastic musical performances for their summer concert series on Sundays. This restaurant offers amazing, freshly prepared seafood that is a refreshing change from the typical frozen fryolator fare found along the Maine MidCoast. They serve beautiful lobster, oysters, mussels, and scallops. The Saturday special of Yorkshire pudding with prime rib is delicious and made with love. The kitchen team here clearly knows their craft. They also have a full bar with options for non-drinkers, such as a fantastic fruit punch. Vegetarian options, as well as dairy-free and vegan options, are available upon request. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is top-notch.
