The appetizers and cocktails at this restaurant were excellent! I can't wait to come back very soon.

Had awesome spinach and artichoke dip clearly not junk like Applebees which is loaded with salt. Wife had huge shrimp cocktail and I had seafood basket. A lot of really good food. Outdoor dining was enjoyable worth the trip!

We arrived at the restaurant a bit early for dinner (or late for lunch), but were able to make a reservation for 4:30 and had a lovely hour on the deck enjoying some Bigelow brown ale. We loved the location, the beautiful view, and the excellent food and service. It was a Christmas miracle!

yes, my wife enjoyed this option! we both ordered the fried combo and enjoyed it very much. my wife went with mais over pommes because of the spicy and it seemed as if the mais had previously been frozen or just looked like that and tasted. not good, but beyond. we also enjoyed the gluten-free muscheln, a nice note. the view of the Christmas bay was wonderful. I took my boys, Aged 14 and 12, here for first steam lobsters. The server allowed them to meet their respective dinners before cooking them. I got their fried scallops (a bit overcooked) and mussels appetizer (the best thing I tried) to share. The boys loved their lobsters, served with fries (good) and slaw (bland and dry). It was a memorable meal, if a little pricey at $120.

we went with the boat to the coveside restaurant, easily connected at 4:15 just before the kitchen opened. our intention was spectacular on the deck, we could bring our dogs, and our food came very fast. the whispers were the best we ever had! the fried scallops and muscheln were fresh, hot and obviously fresh fried! loved the intention to eat, the friendly atmosphere of grace and friendly staff!

I am amazed that this restaurant is thriving this summer despite the challenges in the restaurant industry. I am thankful for their great location overlooking beautiful Christmas Bay in Maine. While many dishes are good, the standout for me this summer was the steamed mussels from Prince Edward Island, Canada. They are served with a delicious garlic-wine sauce that is to die for. The beer and wine selections are also top-notch. The restaurant is owned by a local entrepreneur who curates fantastic musical performances for their summer concert series on Sundays.
