"This was a recommended restaurant by Lakeland locals, so we decided to try it out. The interior gave an ambiance of a candlelit dinner and the menu was very appealing to all palettes. We ordered the Jambalaya, Blackened Shrimp and Grouper w/ French Fires and Coleslaw, Chicken Jolie Blonde w/ Smashed Potatoes, She Crab Soup, Cresent City Cobb, Crispy Calamari, and the Chocolate Ganache Cake. Portion sizes we well worth the price and enough to share among two people per plate. The food was well seasoned and very flavorful; we had a great experience and would definitely recommend that you visit when in the Lakeland area! Jambalaya: The Jambalaya was very flavorful with the right balance of salty, spicy, and rich! The portion was more than plentiful and almost takes you back to New Orleans. Blackened Shrimp and Grouper w/ French Fries and Coleslaw: This dish is absolutely delicious and a seafood-lover's dream (although we did expect there to be more shrimp for the price). Chicken Jolie Blonde w/ Smashed Potatos: The chicken was perfectly cooked and not dry as restaurants generally make it! The sauce was rich and added a perfect balance to the dish! She Crab Soup: Perfect mixture of sweet and spicy! There was plenty of crab chunks in the soup and the seafood flavors were punchy and fresh; definitely a recommended place to enjoy this Charleston staple! Cresent Cobb Salad: The salad came in a huge portion that we shared among all four members in our party. The vegetables tasted fresh and each element was perfectly made for a delicious salad! Crispy Calamari: The flavor was good and the calamari was crispy; the sauce that came with was delicious as well! Chocolate Ganache Cake: The cake was most, but a little too sweet and not as rich as expected. The vanilla sauce that came with it was to die for, though!"

"Great service!!! Very repectable and professional!!! The server explained the menu very well. The food was amazing!!! That the best oxtail in a while!!! Downside, it took a while to get our check and the server called me back in for the customer copy while it was right there on the table. Overall, I would definitely revisit this place!"

"Not a chain but yet a small, locally owned place with THE most wonderful French influenced food, especially the sauces. GREAT service also. Very detailed in every dish. Fish, steak, a good variety on the menu for everyone. The price may seem a bit pricey to some, but you get a lot of food! A salad as well as a starch and veggie come with every entree. So really you get more for the money than most places. You will want to return again and again!"

"I ordered the small cauliflower pizza (a personal pizza with four slices) and the hot wings. The food was decent, but honestly overpriced for the quality. The cauliflower pizza is a good option for health-conscious eaters, but at just about the size of a large hand, paying over $15 felt excessive. I've had flatbreads at many places loaded with fresh ingredients, and they certainly weren’t that expensive. The crust was overcooked and lacked any cheesy goodness. It wasn’t terrible, but far from impressive. The hot wings were spicy and cooked well, but very small and not very crispy. They reminded me of the frozen TGI Fridays wings you can buy at Walmart and heat up at home. At $11 for eight wings, it’s a fair price for 2022, but I probably wouldn’t order them again. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, but for the price, I’d rather spend my money somewhere I truly enjoy the food instead of just settling because I’m hungry. My partner had a large double pepperoni pizza from the same location, and it looked fantastic—that’s why I gave it a shot in the first place."

"Fantastic Fred 's!. This place is great. I love the concept of buffets but am often left feeling disgusted and scammed. This place is a happy exception. Every visit I have come with the family and everyone has left satisfied and eager to plan the next visit. I was a little leery the last time I visited as to how I would fare since my dietary habits had recently shifted from occasional poultry and fish, to straight pescatarianism. However, I was pleasantly surprised that they had added a few more fired and grilled fish dishes to the line up, as well as removed some of the pork from their veggie dishes (a southern thing). I suppose what I 'm getting at is that you can bring the whole family and everyone should be able to get their fill. The only thing that would make this place better is a lower price, but really we all should probably treat buffets as a 'once in a while ' affair anyhow."
