Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

The Merrillville, Indiana location is fantastic! The staff is wonderful and the service is excellent.

We made it in time to get in the restaurant before they closed within an hour and the food was very good!

Waitress was outstanding So was my breakfast, salad, and the belated christmas presents i bought for some loved ones in the toy/candy section. love this place

This restaurant is extremely popular, and it's easy to see why. Both the service and the food are outstanding. I also appreciate the shop, which offers a fantastic variety of merchandise. I highly recommend a visit!

We visited Cracker Barrel for dinner with the family after quite some time, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. Our waitress was really friendly, though it was clear she was quite busy with many tables, and she managed everything impressively well. I ordered the fish fry dinner, which was fantastic, and the hash brown casserole was outstanding. My son’s meatloaf came out a bit cold, but he said it tasted good. Additionally, the gift shop had some great vintage candies that were fun to look at.

I hadn't visited this restaurant in quite a few years, but after going for breakfast recently, I was reminded of how excellent it is and what a fantastic atmosphere they have. Their breakfast options are exceptional. I tried the Grandma's Sampler, which included eggs, sausage, bacon, hash brown casserole, and my favorite—pancakes. I love the slightly crispy edges and the fact that they use 100% pure maple syrup, which is far superior to corn syrup. I'll definitely be returning much sooner this time around! Voir le carte
