"I am the vegan of the group and although my options were a bit limited, I enjoyed the food. I ordered the arroz con vegetales, chips and guac, and tostones. I really enjoyed the arroz con vegetales! A great ratio of vegetables to rice. I do wish there had been a vegetarian protein options because I definitely left a bit hungry. Overall, I had a good experience and the atmosphere of Cubana Cafe was so cute.As the non-vegan of the group, I ordered the Arroz con pollo. It came with rice and beans and it was a very large portion so I had leftovers. Chicken was cooked well and you had a choice of rice, I got the yellow. The elote was perfectly seasoned and there were chips and guac for the table. The shrimp ceviche came with a fruit salad and it was delicious. The only thing I wanted to mention, we had a few vegans that ordered the ‘Yucca with Mojo’. On the menu it doesn’t state any dairy in the dish and so we thought it was safe to order. When it arrived, it seemed to have a dairy sauce covering the entire top of the dish. Although tasty, they weren’t very eager to replace the dish so we just handed it over to the rest of the table and shared it while the other folks had to order something else. Overall, it was a cozy restaurant with tasty food."

This place is awful…. My wife ordered just plain white rice for a daughter and the rice looked and tasted awful. The owner was very rude when we asked to cancel the rest of our order…. He decided to kick us out. Please don’t come Voir le carte

Chill vibes only at this place, so if you want a casual place to have a conversation, this is your place. Music in the background adds to the ambiance. Service was very attentive! Food was lacking a bit in flavor, but I'm Latina and had different expectations. Had a good time and a half pitcher of Sangria, overall I would come again when in the area.

I visited this restaurant to satisfy my craving for a Cuban sandwich, and it did not disappoint. The sandwich included all the essential ingredients: ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, and pork. It was perfectly toasted and accompanied by a delicious salad. The restaurant has a cheerful and vibrant ambiance, and I really enjoyed the music playing in the background. Just a heads-up, they do prefer cash payments.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
