"During my recent visit to Dairy Queen Grill & Chill, I ordered chicken strips for the family, except for our youngest who wanted a cheeseburger with just ketchup. We also asked for extra gravy with our meals. However, when we got home and unpacked, the cheeseburger had only pickles instead of the requested toppings. Additionally, we received two milks instead of one milk and one Sprite. The gravy looked like plain milk at first, but on closer look, there was a thick layer of what was supposed to be gravy settled at the bottom of the container—I’ve attached photos for reference. When I called to report these issues, an employee said the gravy was made in the microwave rather than the usual way. While I understand equipment can fail, it would have been helpful to be told this when ordering. I don’t usually complain at restaurants since everyone can have off days, but this has happened repeatedly, and the food quality has declined so much that I wouldn’t feel comfortable serving it to anyone. It seems they may need new management or better staff to ensure quality meals. Perhaps offering better pay could help attract good employees. Unfortunately, the food quality has really gone downhill; until a few months ago, I had never had any complaints about this place."

I was disappointed with the onion rings and chicken tenders, as they were overcooked. The fish sandwich was served with wilted lettuce and had an off-putting smell. The best part of the meal was the Sprite, which was the only item I truly enjoyed.

There aren't many dining choices around here on Sunday afternoons, so I'll keep coming back to this spot. However, I'm quite disappointed with the remarkably slow service at this Dairy Queen, which is unexpected. Expect to wait an additional 15-20 minutes for your order, even if you only order something small.

The food arrived quickly, and the cashier was very helpful. Our meal tasted good, making for a positive overall experience. Although the staff appeared to be short-handed, everyone was working diligently. I received only half of my order, and the rest was cold. There were so many cars in front waiting for their orders that it created a chaotic situation. Normally, I don't leave negative reviews because I work in the service industry and know that things can go wrong. However, it was evident that the staff seemed undertrained and didn’t appear to care.

My family and I had dinner at this restaurant on the evening of the Eclipse (April 8, 2024). It appeared that the staff was overwhelmed, likely due to being short-handed or an unexpected influx of customers. Despite the bustling environment, the three employees at this location were truly exceptional. They maintained their composure, were courteous, and showed unwavering dedication while working hard in what was evidently a chaotic setting. I sincerely hope that management acknowledges and appreciates the effort of these three outstanding team members.
