"I absolutely adore this long-standing San Antonio restaurant! The Sesame Chicken is always fantastic - perfectly breaded, light, and soaked in delicious Sesame Sauce made fresh to order. You can choose between fried rice or steamed rice, but I personally prefer their fried rice. The Fried Wontons may not be the largest, but they are definitely the best in my opinion. Unlike other places where I focused solely on the thin and crispy dough, Ding How's Wontons also have wonderfully flavored cream cheese. I highly recommend Ding How as your next Chinese restaurant to try out!"

To much peppers in their selections. Meat quality is ok

The restaurant has a problem with rats and cockroaches and does not comply with health codes.

By far the best Chinese place in town! My husband showed me this restraunt years ago, this is mainly only Chinese place we will eat it. I have been going almost every week for the past few months since now I am pregnant again, this is his fav too!

Even when visiting on Christmas Eve, this restaurant was exceptional! I adore the architecture and interior design. The portion sizes are huge for the price. The orange chicken was the favorite among my group. I particularly liked the egg drop soup. The service was friendly and very prompt. Be sure to come hungry and expect to take home leftovers. Large servings. Great atmosphere and service. The food was strangely sweet. Sesame beef was like candied and so hard I could snap it. The general tso equivalent was not spicy it was all sweet. After when eating fortune cookies they tasted bland/tasteless because the meats wereso sweet. left hungry even with a large amount of leftover because my teeth and stomach couldn't handle how sweet it was.

The restaurant is usually reliable, but the last time I went the server was not attentive. We were not given silverware, and even when the food came out, we still did not receive any. The server forgot about us, brought out the wrong drinks and refills. The food was cold, so I ended up taking it home to reheat myself. Despite this bad experience, my previous visits to this restaurant have been positive.

Not sure why others are being so generous with their rating. The food is ok and editable, and service was a notch higher. The side fried rice was just a yellow rice with nothing on it. The Peking duck was dry, The sweet and sour mixed meat was not good because it was all batter and the pork was unchewable, and the chicken was a battered cutlet and sliced. The pupu tray was really the best food we had there! Voir le carte

The food here was great. I went with my mom, and we shared the pu pu platter, and both got soups as well. I had hot and sour, and she had the wonton soup. The variety of food on the pu pu platter was nice, and it was a good portion size. The interior of the restaurant was nicely decorated. The service was great as well. We didn't have to wait long to be seated, and the food came out quickly. I'd definitely recommend this place.

During my visit with my mother, it seemed like there were more hostesses than waitstaff at the restaurant. The appetizers, such as the dumplings and rangoons, were good. However, the main dishes lacked flavor and were very basic with larger than usual cuts of vegetables. I didn't notice anything particularly unique compared to what you would find in a mall. The building itself was nice, but parking was quite frustrating. Despite living in San Antonio since 1987, I had never visited this restaurant until recently, and I don't see any reason to return.
