"This restaurant was a complete disappointment. I had high expectations after reading the positive reviews, but the experience was far from satisfying. The building itself is lovely and the interior is charming, but the food was a letdown. Not only was it overpriced, but it also seemed like the cooking was lazy. I ordered sweet and sour chicken, but what was served to me looked like a frozen chicken patty cut up and topped with raw, dried carrots. The fried rice was bland and lacked any flavor, appearing more like plain white rice mixed with uncooked egg yolk. I was charged extra for this disappointing meal. I have never had such a poor experience at a Chinese restaurant before and would not recommend this place to anyone."

Even when visiting on Christmas Eve, this restaurant was exceptional! I adore the architecture and interior design. The portion sizes are huge for the price. The orange chicken was the favorite among my group. I particularly liked the egg drop soup. The service was friendly and very prompt. Be sure to come hungry and expect to take home leftovers.

Good atmosphere, fast service. We got a party of 6 and got seated so fast during lunch time. Food was tasty and affordable. Our waitress was so considerate and friendly. The only dish doesnt meet expectation was the pecking duck. It was such a small dish for the price, and there weren't buns. The duck also taste blanc, so it can be done so much better.

This restaurant in San Antonio is definitely our favorite. It never disappoints with its excellent food at very reasonable prices. The service is top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff. The portion sizes are generous and while it can get busy during lunchtime, the longest wait we've had for a table was only 15 minutes. Trust me, it's worth the wait.

Eat is good. Hot acid suppe was tonight. too much edgy or hot oil. not as good as previously visited. kung pow huh was excellent as seshwan bark meat. service was excellent, but if they seriously wear over covid masks, why are all sitting in the same section closing together? I'm going to be on the staff for a moment, but we were overcrowded! another good Asian experience in an Asian desert of san antonio. View menu

Not sure why others are being so generous with their rating. The food is ok and editable, and service was a notch higher. The side fried rice was just a yellow rice with nothing on it. The Peking duck was dry, The sweet and sour mixed meat was not good because it was all batter and the pork was unchewable, and the chicken was a battered cutlet and sliced. The pupu tray was really the best food we had there!

The food here was great. I went with my mom, and we shared the pu pu platter, and both got soups as well. I had hot and sour, and she had the wonton soup. The variety of food on the pu pu platter was nice, and it was a good portion size. The interior of the restaurant was nicely decorated. The service was great as well. We didn't have to wait long to be seated, and the food came out quickly. I'd definitely recommend this place.

After a brief 5 min wait, I was seated. Hostess informed me that staff was new and still learning, which allowed me to practice a little more patience w my young waiter. Although he forgot my drink, and of those around me, you could see he was trying. Hot Sour soup was extremely tasty and only one I've had that actually had a welc?med kick to it! Spicy Garlic Shrimp was just that. All in all, good visit. Planning on returning to try a couple more dishes. Only drawback was that it was a bit warm.?‍ View menu

I absolutely adore this long-standing San Antonio restaurant! The Sesame Chicken is always fantastic - perfectly breaded, light, and soaked in delicious Sesame Sauce made fresh to order. You can choose between fried rice or steamed rice, but I personally prefer their fried rice. The Fried Wontons may not be the largest, but they are definitely the best in my opinion. Unlike other places where I focused solely on the thin and crispy dough, Ding How's Wontons also have wonderfully flavored cream cheese. I highly recommend Ding How as your next Chinese restaurant to try out!

I recently drove 35 minutes to pick up a plate of chicken with mixed vegetables from a restaurant near my home. I had high hopes for a good meal, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. After just a few bites, I discovered a hair in my food, which completely ruined my appetite. In this day and age, I would expect restaurants to take extra precautions, especially with the ongoing concerns around COVID-19. I plan to return to the restaurant to show them the evidence and hopefully receive a refund for the issues I encountered. This review serves as a warning for others considering dining at this establishment.
