Not much to write about this place. The BBQ was mediocre at best, and the drinks were not much better.

They need more servers when there is a band playing at Armory. Sweet waitress, but she was super busy, forgot to put in appetizer order.

Great atmosphere for a game day. If you can't get into the stadium I would definitely recommend coming, here have an Erik the Red pilsner with mac and cheese it's the way to go.

We celebrated our 10-year anniversary at Erik der Roten last night. Their hospitality and service was AMAZING! They were sooo generous and force us an amazing amount. Even if you don't try their cheese curds with Lingonberry sauce... go right now! I'm from Wisconsin, where we take our cheese cures seriously... these are some of the best I ever had!!! Great experience! I've been going for a long time. I was Tuesday night. Nice service from Hannah. You can say when people take care that you are good. One night of several firsts. In the first attempt by Hamm's, Elk Wurst and Knochenmark. I've been trying bone marrow for years. It was KILLER! I was lucky to set up a comedy night. I came to dinner. I have a lot more. Tuesday's comedy night. Starts about 8:30 or later. Great experience! Delicious food. I'm going to see more.

We went there and after ordering it took our waitress nearly 20 minutes to come back and tell us that the kitchen lost our ticket but our food was up. Then we had to try and flag her down almost 20 minutes later just for her to tell us that the food was not ready and the kitchen messed up with a snotty attitude. I understand that they became very busy but multiple tables received their food that had ordered after us and she obviously didn 't care whatsoever about us or the fact that we 'd been there for nearly an hour AFTER ordering and hadn 't gotten our food.

I will simply tell you the experience, and let you decide. We arrive, and stand at the hostess desk for 7.5 minutes. No one helps us. My wife notices the booths on the left are marked “reserved”. She asks a server if we seat ourselves, and he gruffly barks “those are reserved for people that have reservations”. She informs him that we are those people, to which he responds “Sit down then!” OK, no big deal, we’re seated. Next, he asks us if we have a Groupon, and I responded in the affirmative. He promptly announces “you can forget happy hour 2-for-1s ‘cause they don’t count with a Groupon”. Well, aren’t we off to a lousy start!
