Easter Sunday dinner menu was awesome. Six of seven had tuna tartare and I had a salad that was a mean itself. Entrees included what one son said was the perfect steak. Plus delicious lamb. I had duck. Everything delicious. Claire was a great waitperson. The restaurant is lovely, A real treat.

We live in CT and take the ferry over sevarale times a year only for diving in the fifth season. You're never disappointed. I live gluten-free and never feel my meal is missing something compared to others. We brought many non-GF friends who always have great meals. We did the New Year's Prize Festival last night and it was great. Place was packed and service and meals were still great. We really enjoyed our evening.

We always love visiting this restaurant! It has such a cozy atmosphere during the autumn and winter months, especially by the fireplace. The food is consistently delicious; I can order the same dishes year after year, and they always taste just as I remember. This time of year, I particularly enjoy the sweet potato gnocchi and butternut squash ravioli. The staff is always attentive and friendly. This place truly knows how to run a restaurant. After many years in Port Jefferson village, The Fifth Season is still by far the best in food and hospitality in the area. Every member of the staff does their best to take care of you from the moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave. Each dish is executed and presented with care. The staff always treats me like family and I consider every bartender, cook, and server at the restaurant to be my family as well. Cheers to Deborah, Johnny, Yaw, Noah, and everyone else on the staff for curating a truly great restaurant experience for all of us.

The day before our reservation, the hostess called to review food allergies and dietary needs. I was impressed the restaurant had made a note in their reservations system from our prior visit. I added one additional food allergy not on the list. The hostess asked for our seating preference once she learned that one of the guests is an elderly person. The fixed price menu on that day had a wide variety of choices. Simply put, every choice was a well crafted dish only a talented chef can produce. Each dish was beautifully presented. The food was delicious and on each bite new layers of flavors were revealed. This is one of those great restaurants I will return to visit.

Excellent food and service. I am vegan and they offer vegan options in all courses. The menus are seasonal, and my wife and I look forward to the return and sampling of all seasons (so far we have tried winter and spring). The cook deserves a special mention and offers some amazing specialties along with the menu. In the night we went, I had the vegan special that was celery root with wild rice, mushrooms and bok choi in an orange sauce. Great flavors and very creative. The waiting staff is very attentive and friendly. The interior is warm, clean and welcoming.
