"This is one of our favorite restaurants in Peekskill, and Chef Mike never disappoints. The food is great, and Chef Mike is routinely out on the floor helping out and visiting with the guests. During our last visit, Chef Mike had to inform us that he had run out of salmon. But, he mentioned that he had some bass, and would be able to do something with it that might be good. My wife decided to try it, and it was amazing. It felt like we were at a friend's house. Also, don't skip dessert. Our group of four shared all three available options, and each one was excellent."

The Hake during restaurant week was truly delicious. The grilled octopus is a must-try dish. The chef always takes the time to interact with each customer.

We had such an incredible meal at Fin Brew. Every dish was perfection. Beautiful location, excellent drinks, kind staff, beautiful presentation. Favorite dish was the Heirloom tomato salad. And the sushi was so fresh. Will go back again and again! Voir le carte

This waterfront restaurant with a seasonal seafood comfort fare menu is a must-try! The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was simply heavenly! I was so impressed that I had to look up the chef—who, to my delight, came out to meet us. Thank you, Chef Mike! I can't wait to try the dinner menu soon!

Fin Brew is a local jewel. I?ve been a customer since its opening. Chef Mike Anastacio is superb, together with the whole team, creating seasonal menus and cocktails that are inventive and delicious. I love seating outside, when the weather is warm, enjoying a wonderful meal, the Hudson River and a beautiful sunset.

This is definitely one of the best restaurants I’ve ever dined at, without a doubt. The chef and staff are welcoming, and the food is absolutely outstanding. Trust the chef’s vision, and you won’t be disappointed. The flavors are incredible; it feels like you're on a journey down the yellow brick road, discovering delightful hidden creations. This has become my new favorite restaurant in all of New York! Voir le carte

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this restaurant. I fell in love with the ambiance and the music; everything about the place is captivating. The food was incredible and indulgent, offering a range of flavors that blended together beautifully. The presentation of each dish was stunning. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and Chef Mike took the time to come out and chat with us—what a fantastic guy and talented chef! I can honestly say it was the best duck I've ever had in my life!

What a wonderful find! A few of us were looking for new places to try and we selected Fin Brew....this is going to become one of our go to spots. We ate inside, but there is a beautiful deck overlooking the water. The menu had a nice variety, we tried several selections and each one was absolutely delicious! Our waitress Jess was amazing, very helpful with suggestions and knowledgeable about the food.. always a good sign. The cocktails are very well balanced and well crafted. Definitely a place to try!

"Last night was no exception. Despite the restaurant buzzing with diners, including a celebrity group at the large round table beneath a whimsical mural of a giant octopus attacking a ship (I couldn't help but joke about enjoying one of its relatives as I waited for my appetizer), the atmosphere remained lively yet welcoming. Chef Mike oversees the kitchen with passion and creativity, making it a point to personally greet guests, often alongside his sous chef Sarah. Their visits feel like a warm addition to the dining experience rather than an interruption, and they are always eager to share insights about the dishes and their inspirations. You never know who might be dining nearby, adding to the restaurant’s charm. The “captain’s table,” known for its lazy Susan, was occupied by notable figures like actor/comedian Tate Donovan, AMD's senior vice president Forrest Norrod, and actress Sadie Sink, among others. They were enjoying their evening as we arrived and continued to do so as we wrapped up our meal. I started the evening with a delightful passionfruit cocktail, followed by Korean fried octopus and wild Hokkaido scallops that nearly made me swoon. The octopus was incredibly tender—best I’ve ever had—coated in a delightful sweet, savory, and spicy sauce that complemented it perfectly. Free of heavy breading, the octopus truly stood out. The scallops were cooked to perfection, accompanied by a potato strata, homemade blue potato chips, and a creamy sauce elegantly poured over the dish by our server. My companions enjoyed the yin yang roll, onion baddies (which I sampled and found indescribably delicious!), as well as the Long Island Duck and Fisherman’s Stew—all reported to be excellent. Chef Mike certainly excels at fusion cuisine! For dessert, we knew we couldn't hold back, as all desserts are made in-house by Sous Chef Sarah. We shared the Cherry Poppin' toffee pudding, carrot cake, and Rhubarb Rose. Unfortunately, due to a chocolate allergy at our table, we missed trying the Choc Daddy, but I fully intend to return soon to sample it. The Cherry Poppin’ offered a delightful twist on toffee pudding, using tangy dried sour cherries instead of the usual dates and brightening the dish with Meyer lemons in the sauce. The Rhubarb Rose was a visual masterpiece reminiscent of Willy Wonka: bright and colorful, built on a gluten-free almond cake layered with poached rhubarb, a rich vanilla-rhubarb mousse, lime streusel, and charming curls of rhubarb crisps. Absolutely delicious! The carrot cake was undoubtedly the best I’ve ever tasted, showcasing Chef Sarah's ability to deliver desserts that are nuanced and balanced—decadent yet never overly sweet—a perfect finale to a truly delightful meal shared with great company, all while overlooking a gorgeous view. Just go already! (However, if you dislike waiting, be sure to make a reservation, and for a quieter experience, consider visiting on a Thursday or Sunday.)"

"I have been coming to this Carvel since I was a kid. Every birthday, celebration or Wednesday Carvel was the go to. After 20 years I had no complaints until about a month ago. Every Wednesday my family enjoys bogo sundaes. I order my four medium sundaes and try to place my order as simple as I can so there is no mistakes. Instead the employee rushes to try and memorize all of my four different sundae orders in her head. I completely understand feeling overwhelmed by a line but if this employee took their time, I would have no complaint or story to tell. I drive home open my cup and find missing toppings. I drive back considering I live local and politely ask for my topping that I ordered and paid for in a separate cup and TIP the employees anyways. The following week, the same employee messes up three of the four sundae orders again rushing to memorize my order. I again have to go back to the store for my missing toppings. The employee rudely greets me with a “yes?” I explain my order once again is messed up. Instead of owning up to her mistake, the employee responds “I didn’t know you wanted that”. First of all I was charged for it. Second I’ve been ordering the same order for the last 20 years I am 100% certain I ordered correctly. I respond to the employee “well the same thing happened last week with you”. To which the employee responds “I won’t serve you anymore”. That is A-OK with me considering I am the one who is going home disappointed week after week. My next visit the same employee hides in the back while I am ordering. The following week, a different employee who has nothing to do with the situation asks another employee to take my order. As this employee is making my sundae I hear her say “I feel like she’s watching me” about me to her coworker. What else should I be doing while I’m the only customer in the store waiting for my order? Close my eyes? I am very disappointed with the new staff and the immaturity. I know when I worked in the food industry/customer service I never would treat a loyal paying customer like this and my manager wouldn’t put up with it."
